The OFFICIAL Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Parts 1 & 2 Thread

I CANNOT WAIT!! :D
I've been counting down :p:D
I really want to get my tickets booked, but unfortunately they're not
waiting in the que it is.......:(:yawn:

Having a stupidly long film doesn't always equate to quality. I'd rather have a shorter more focused film than a long drawn out one. And as people have said, it's only Part 1! People are really complaining about it being "only" 147 minutes?!? lol.

Not really a fan of Harry Potter but just wanted to say she is hot, the only reason my frienRAB persistent nagging pays off about watching the films. George Craig is a lucky guy:(

Yes, it definitely should have been kept in the film. Alan Rickman is perfect as Snape, isn't he? This one scene alone is so telling, and without Alan even uttering a word. I also love the way the light and darkness covers his face, with it emerging in the light. :)

*sigh*

IIRC it was David Yates who said that it gave too much away regarding Snape...so he cut it out of the film.

I love the music to this, too. Full version here:

Is anyone else a bit miffed that Professor Flitwick is reduced to 'choirmaster' in the films?

Brilliant trailer!

But I have one question though, the trailer includes the battle scene between Voldermort and Harry which comes near the conclusion of the book, but since this is Part 1, howcome they've added that for this trailer? Wouldn't they have saved it for Part 2?

Do you think they'll release the dvRAB in 2 parts or wait until the second part has been in the cinemas before releasing the dvd?

LOTR was split into 3 and I think they released those seperately, but then again people were familiar with the splits whilst this is new territory for hp fans but I really have no idea... I'd prefer a 2-disc special personally.

Yeah I assume that its just something they have added, in the book a lot of the fight between Harry and Voldy is just talking then Harry doing expelliarmus at the end, not very exciting on the big screen as the climax of 8 movies so I suppose they have to add in a bit more to make it more dramatic.
