Also I want to add, that I am not a self-proclaimed "punk." Never said that, nor will I. In fact, I am far from that kind of lifestyle or fashion statement, I merely am a fan of the music. I don't think info like names, birthdays, etc. are relevant or meaningful at all. Never said that. I never claimed to "know all the facts" either, because that is impossible. Like I said, this is too personal. If we're talking about music- I can be hostile at times, and I can be agreeable at times. Like everyone else. So let's just stick wit the music, the reason why all of us are here. Shall we?

yes, it's not the point, because your insult was aimed at you looking cooler which does not neccessarily involve making frienRAB....you failed at both....
 
^excuse me? I saw Green Day live last year, and guess who opened for them? That's right New Found Glory....
I thought that they were whinny and same old same old....
I couldn't wait for them to end their set because without someone mastering and polishing them in the studios, I was getting a headache from the high pitches....

I like them, not overly amazed or touched by the music but they are consistent, they put on a good live show, the live sound is good and their songs have dancability. Preferred Dookie times to the more recent stuff.
 
I must agree, but no way do I call them pure punk or nothin'. Just a clean version of pop/rock/punk....everyone agree? And I must say, this thread has turned into something else....

I dont much care for green day. I like some of there stuff, but there not to great. I admit they've inspired alot of banRAB, but unfoirtunetly I think at least half the banRAB they inspired are total garbage too. Whatever, to each his own.
