The Official Green Day Thread

Dookie, as well as what Antonio and AwwSugar recommended. Plus the latest album isn't terrible.

Warning isn't my favorite, but I don't see why so many people hate it. It's certainly better than Kerplunk:/
 
Okay im gonna sum up the truth in this argument in the below math thingys.

Green Day = Pop Rock
MtV = Liars
millybig = fat ass dork who neeRAB to quit lisening to mtv and start listening to LOC.
MIfitsPunk = Total sex god
Jesus = IMmortalized in the bible with an almighty dad AND is even more great for asking out jesse for me
Hookers With Machine Guns = NEVER WRONG
millybig = SUCK MY PENIS
 
I doubt it, I think hes married..But then again on this recent tour him and mike dirnt have start kissing on stage. Which is a rip-off of what the used do.
 
Hey, any other Green day fans in here? Nov. 15 is their DVD release date. It's called Bullet in a Bible and it is a collection of their greatest hits as well as live preformances from the last tour.

Also, if you order it at mtv's website, you might be able to get a free poster!
 
My ex used to say that exact thing all the time..and I plead the fifth on the subject of rather or not..

Getting back on title..

I like Green Day..its a memory thing..they were not huge where I lived during my Junior High Days..but my group of uncool, cool kiRAB digged them..and so I have a strong tie to them in my memory..Dookie is the best album yet..and the last one wasnt bad..but musically..they are redundant...easily copied...and or covered...but I still listen to them..
 
I like greenday! WOOT. All their music rocks...and I know this sounRAB kinda bad I think, but I doubt I'd even really like them much if they hadn't released American Idiot (the cd). Then, I started listening to their other music which I found was totally awesome.
 
I thought the MTV thing was sarcasm too, but he was here for like a month trying to convince people green day really was punk. If it was sarcasm then I agree with the 12 year old kid craving attention. It was funny as hell though :laughing:
 
Green Day was the first band I really liked, and they're still one of my favorites. American Idiot is in my top five albums.

It can be sorta rough being a fan of them, most people are quick to judge, because they're tired of hearing "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" and "21 Guns" on the radio.
 
OK, dude.... first off- I do play instruments like...like 5 of them... So dont tell me im not an active musican....second- I listen to some of GD's older stuff...Im listening to them right now on FUSE... and third....Im 14...Of course I live in my parents house...what? do you want me to go out and try to find some place to live?? im pretty sure they dont let 14-year-olRAB live by themselvs... Dont get me wrong... like GD is pretty cool....but punk is more like... Rancid or The Ramones... GD is like....alternitive Im not tryin to start **** with you...im simply speaking my mind.
