The Official Blink 182 Thread

I like their old stuff, chesire cat, dude ranch, I don't really like enema, but the songs are still good live. Take off your pants and jacket is a pretty nice sounding album, with some really impressive musical works. The new one just blows the genre off and they go into their own thing, which i think is great. The songs on that album are just what they felt like playing, not thinking about any images. And yes, they can play them live, i saw the video on their sight. So what if they "sold out' they have loaRAB of cash, and they play music for it. Right on
 
i think blink was good in their day, and opened the eyes of a lot of people to a diffrent kind of music, but they're getting old, and the music's just not as good as it used to be
 
No no, this thread should be in the other forum because they don't even play real music..hehe no I'm not that mean I like a couple of their catchy songs..it's those damn riRAB...and I would never be evil enough to totally down on someone else's music like that...it's just not my taste.

I think they are funny and do their thing. I dont think they are really punk per say. They are pop punk i guess u could classify it like. Its like avril lavigne, there was this idea that she was "punk". Then again, punk is used to describe a lot nowadays. A lot of music starts out without a classification and they find them selves be classified under one genre.
