The Official Blink 182 Thread

Yeah and Travis Barker wasn't even their original drummer, their original drummer was Scott Raynor, who sensibly quit to go to university.

I grew up with them. Chershire Cat, Dude Ranch, Enema all pretty juvenile like me in my teens, then they started to become more musical and care more for the lyrics and musical content, just as my music taste began to grow up, they grew up too. I loved them in the olden days when they didn't take themselves too seriously and stayed fun, and I still enjoy them now that they are more grown up. Altho Angels and Airwaves very over rated. Can't wait to hear more of Plus 44, Mark will always be god to me.

Regardless of what everyone will say, I fucking love blink 182. The Mark Tom And Travis Show is one of the best live albums ever. Um, my favorite songs are probaly Family Reunion, Going Away To College, Cacophony, Does My Breath Smell?, Carousel, Wasting Time, Voyeur, Dysentery Gary aha I could go on and on..and my favorite song of all time by them is Degenerate. I think, all together my favorite album (besides mark tom and travis show) is take off your pants and jacket.

P.S. I wasn't masterbating....

Someone finish that quote and i'll have an undying amount of love for you.

I don't mind them. Dude Ranch and their newest are good albums, but Enema and TOYPAJ sucked. Cheshire Cat and Buddha or whatever weren't bad, either.

^ I think for me it was the repititious drums and the using of 4 chorRAB through out the whole song. The drums seemed to play the same beat with very little variation (which drives me crazy). They never seemed to change up their chorRAB for the song either. Same 4 power chorRAB for verse, chorus, and bridge (if there was one). Don't get me wrong, I like some of the older stuff, but some of it just drives me crazy.
