the new (HD) intro

I thought it was great. But, I think one of the reasons it works is that it's such a random out there type of thing that should never air more than once.
 
I know the discussion was started on the "To Surveil with Love" episode, but it was time to resurrect the thread.

While doing a related search on the episode, I saw that some people aren't that thrilled with the Tik Tok intro. They were basically trashing the episode, saying the show sold out, true fans don't listen to that music, blah blah blah.

What did you think of the new intro? Should the show use other songs, not necessarily in the same genre?
 
Cool about the crow having 3 eyes I thought my eyes were deceiving me because I watched the intro at Hulu.

Yeah I assumed that Sherri and Terri were texting :lol:
 
I've noticed the falling tv. I kinda wonder if the tv is also HDTV when they show it on the episode or if it's back to the old tv set.
 
I didn't check that Liz, must pay more attention next time.

Are Sherri and Terri texting during band practice? I can't tell if they are doing that or playing a handheld game.
 
I like the new intro as well. Yeah I also notice new things everytime I see it. Cool I will have to pay attention about the bird in the beginning.

Also are my eyes deceiving me or does the bird have 3 eyes?
 
There was a brief discussion under one of the episode threaRAB regarding the new intro. I thought it deserved its own thread. So what are your thoughts on it?

Everytime I see it, I catch something new. For example, I think, and I could be wrong, the bird shown when the chorus says "The Simpsons...." doesn't always fly in the same direction.
