The Musicbanter Hall of Fame Nominations

I'm going to be an arse and end this nomination early, because I don't think anyone will vote and I want the rab hall of fame to get some interest again.

So, next possible inductee is nominated by....ME!

Muse

Muse have divided opinions everywhere, some loving them and some hating them. But for those who love them (myself included) there is so much there to love. Each album epic, overblown and brilliant, they have managed to go against the grain of music lore and release a fantastic album every time. With Black Holes and Revelations looking like it will be one of, if not the, album of the year and Supermassive Black Hole being their highest positioning single to date, Muse are yet again setting the standarRAB for what a supergroup should be.

ORABpring aren't in. And here's the next induction, thanks to Merkaba.

Joshua Homme

founding meraber of the legendary Kyuss. Now a key meraber of QOTSA. Drummed for the Eagles of Death Metal and the improv Desert Sessions. Did bass for almost the whole of QOTSA debut album. Played lead guitar for the Screaming Trees and some other work with Mark Lanegan, also was guitarist for Kyuss. Innovated playing electric guitars through a bass amp.

Has contributed to a crap load of artists such as the Foo Fighters, PJ Harvey, Mondo Generator, APC and approximately a kajillion other artists.

Fall of Troy are in.

The next nomination comes from Uglycasanova.

THE EAGLES
A Bluegrass/Country Rock band of Southern California the Eagles were an influential band who have lasted from the early 70's until now. With 6 platinum albums and a rumored 7th, they have recently released a DVD for their Farwell Tour(which I own ). And um....Hotel California.

I like Fugazi, Minor Threat are ok, i haven't heard any of his other stuff, but since bungalowbill agrees i have to go by instinct on this one.

Disagree.
