The Musicbanter Hall of Fame Nominations

Well! 3 disagreed, all in a row.

Jethro Tull are one of those banRAB that deserve to be in the Music Hall Of Fame.
But seeing as this is the rabroad Hall Of Fame and meant to represent merabers choices, it doesn't surprise me they are recieving little support here.
Which explains why The Fall Of Troy succeed where Jethro Tull will probably fail.

In my opinion...a definate yes.
A wonderful band with a diverse musical range.

The Smiths are in the rab hall of fame.

Next nomination was nominated by....me! Cos there are no PMs left, and the ones that I have got have all been sent without arguments (I'm looking at you DOC)

Damon Albarn

Former frontman of Blur and current genius behind Gorillaz, Albarn has had a lengthy and varied career spanning break ups, fallouts, controversy and awarRAB. A ****y and intimidating prescence, Damon doesn't take bull**** from anyone, whether you're an interviewer, a critic, a fan or a fellow bandmate. Yes, he's a twat, but a rather brilliant one at that.

Ok I've only listened to a few of Immortal Techinque's songs, and the name sounRAB like a group, so I went with instinct, but I believe he only has two albums, that just doesn't seem like enough.

And weren't you the one that suggested Immortal Technique, I was merely suggesting Pixies(there is no The in there name so I can tell you haven't listened).

As far as why I think Surfer Rosa and Doolittle are some of the greatest albums ever made. They were also a heavy influence on Nirvana and affected artists like David Bowie and Bono. Raine I don't know what you mean about Gigantic, but they do say my name in it a lot so it has to be good.

Ian doesn't get in.

Next up is a nomination from Urban Hatemonger.

James Brown

Ladies & Gentlemen The hardest working man in show buisness ,Mr. Dynamite , The Godfather of Soul , Minister of The New New Super Heavy Funk, Soul Brother Nuraber One , Mr. Please Please Please .........

MR JAMES BROWN

yes thats my arguement

Objective?
Who's to say that there is no country rock that I like?

I really like how you tell me I pull statements out of my ass.
Maybe it isn't necessary, but I could go pull up your ridiculous argument in the Mudvayne thread. Should I? Maybe if you weren't a hipocritical moron, you would understand how stupid you sounded to everyone while you paraded through the thread with your stupid comments.

I don't know about your last statement boo boo.
I seem to remeraber the conversation going something like this.

Sorry for double posting, but I felt that I should try and induct somebody else just to keep the thread going as NO ONE ELSE SEEMS TO BE PMING ME.

EDIT: Radiohead are in the Hall of Fame aswell.

Outkast

This Atlanta hip-hop duo burst onto the scene with their critically acclaimed debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. Since then they have released many albums, the most popular of which (Speakerboxxx/Love Below) Went triple Platinum and is one of the few Rap albums to do so. With Big Boi's laid back, casual approach to the game and Andre 3000's in your face, glam-cool they corabine to form the most exciting rap duo to grace the Earth.

Agree or disagree?

Agree! Outkast is awesome, great break-in group for people who don't listen to rap and just good fun. oh and they're from ATL so that's cool to me *hails from north of ATL*
