Well going by Five's usual if you are waiting for season two, if lucky sometime next summer. Starts in the US next month sometime.

The Guardian is a better show though cancelled in 2003.
 
Yeah I think mine would have to be Cho as well and yeah last night was my favourite episode so far. I thought as silly as it might sound Jane hadn't been as central in the previous couple of episodes and it didn't really work...
 
Can't agree with that - he killed Jane's wife not Jane, then the tv interviewer not Kristina (unless she doesn't want to come back next series?) - if he killed Jane his "game" would be at an end and he wouldn't be able to taunt/torture Jane any more.
 
I love this show. Well, I love everything that Simon Baker does. I am becoming desperate for Season 2. Someone suggested we might have to wait until April, so I hope the February guess above is right. They could at least repeat Season 1 on 5USA, 'cos I missed a few of the early ones so haven't got them recorded. Have ordered the boxed set from Amazon, but having to wait until March for that for some annoying reason.:mad::mad:
 
Hi folks, I've only been watching for about 3 or 4 months, and have gradually got into it (also SB is growing on me quite a bit ;) :D ) From what I've seen I'm so far thinking that season one is better than two. I knew that SB was an Aussie but had no idea that OY was Welsh, am thinking of getting the season 1 dvRAB as I can't record channel 5, have found a good deal on Zavvi so think I might treat myself :D
 
I was thinking about watching this on the Five USA catchup, I think they are showing all episodes so far today and again tomorrow.

Only thing I was wondering is as they are being shown before 9pm, is there much that would have to be cut out? Is there any point to watch these versions or would it be better to wait?
 
I couldnt figure out where i recognised Simon Baker from... but realize now he was in Home and Away the aussie soap.

I thought the first epp was fab.. will definatly be watching the next one.
 
I've been waiting for this one and wasn't disappointed. Except that I wanted to watch it again straight away and my recording failed (digital switchover :mad:). There was indeed a lot going on, so I can't wait to see it again (and hopefully record) tomorrow on 5USA. Thank you Five for giving us the repeats otherwise I would have been a right misery today.:o
 
That's incredible - you'd think someone there would have noticed that they were playing the wrong program. :confused: Mind you, I'm not convinced there is anyone on duty because on Friday the voice-over introduced the wrong episode - so maybe someone just presses the play button and everyone goes down the pub.

I expect you know that this ep is repeated again on 5USA on Wed at 9pm. Actually this is usually a better one to watch because Sunday's 7pm airing often has things cut out as its before the watershed. Last week they cut out some bloody bits, and at the hospital Lisbon calling Jane a cold bastard - I rather enjoyed that bit.
 
I am a Derren Brown fan so I was expecting it (the pilot) to be rather "cleverer" than it was. The murder plot was actually pretty dull. The pilot was not ground-breaking but I think it's better to start off low-key. I will keep tuning in but I would not call it "unmissable" from the pilot.

The lead actor is good but does nothing for my loins, he is not my physical type.
 
There seem to be quite a few threaRAB about American shows having a UK airdate set and I just wondered if anyone knew if/when Five will be showing the new series of The Mentalist...? Thanks :D
