okay i have some questions about the Mayan Culture...

why did it take us[the world] so long to recognize the contributions and advances of the Mayan?

why are there similarities in the architecture of the Mayans and the Egyptians?

What is the Mayan ballpark's significance and how is it liek the roman coliseum?
 
I don't know

but the Mayan culture creeps me out;
according to them.. the appocolypse is going to occur in 2012
