The iPhone's virtual keyboard is pretty impressive

Predictive text = not something new
Predictive text on a touch screen that learns and predicts your next typed letter and increases it "touch zone" = impressive attention to detail.

pple act like mms is soooooo great.

It isn't, if you are on different carriers many times MMS is pointless

example: I'm on ATT/Cingular....someone from Tmobile try to send me a video or a pic and i get a txt telling me to visit a webpage.

from here on out anyway.

UI wise the iphone looks good, bright and colorful everything clearly laid out.

dont even BOTHER bringing up past touch screen phones with their stylus use. Those phones sucked like shit. I used a touchscreen phone on T-mobile and it was horrible.

and there, in itself my point is proven.

you had to buy an extended battery from day one

the iphone's battery is long running from day one.

you have YET to even replace your extended battery

The avg user is just like you, he will most likely not replace the battery, and the avg user will most likely not run the battery to 0 making the 400-500 full charges of the iphone's battery a non issue.

because...we are talking full discharge and recharges here...and no one ever really lets there phone die down to zero. Hence extending the life of a lithium ion battery.

All lithum ions eventually die...they just die faster if they're fully discharged.

hmmm...

I bought an extended OEM battery because I was given money to purchase accessories with. My wife has the same phone and has used her OEM battery for nine months with no problems. And I fully discharge my phone all the time because I'll simply forget to charge it since it syncs via bluetooth pretty much as soon as I walk in my front door.

well that's what happens when you let lithium ions die to empty.

you replace the battery more often.

and that's true with any device.
not just the ipod

Do you have any clue how many lithium ion batteries I use? My 4 year old DSLR I have FIVE batteries for, they are all 4 years old, they all die completely all the time, they all still work fine. My 2 year old video camera has TWO batteries, they also die all the time, they also work fine. My phone is over a year old, it dies all the time, it still works fine. The ONLY product I own that has had battery issues are my ipods, BOTH of them, SHOCKING!!
