Accusing someone of being intellectually abhorrent because they have a lower squick threshold than you is pretty intellectually abhorrent in itself, though.
I do not like the idea of movies like this and do not watch them. I do wonder why someone would want to make something like this, and, more so, why anyone would want to star in it. I can't say it's a genre I understand.
The idea of the movie freaked me out (I too saw it on charlie brooker), so I had to watch it (nothings as bad as you imagine it to be...).
The entire movie can be summarized as this:
Crazy unconvincing german Dr attaches chinese-speaking man to an american woman and her friend via mouth to anus. Dr is happy when first man craps into womans mouth. Then
two detectives get involved. There's a shoot out. Detectives die. Dr is injured also, by the chinese man. Chinese man decideRAB to slit his own throat. Girl at back dies. Girl in middle is left trapped between them
A sequel is planned involving 12 people which apparently will make...
It's fine to have a lower threshold to these type of films, but the poster in question claimed that anybody who watched the film was "twisted". That is just ridiculously narrow minded. If you don't want to watch this type of film then that's fine, but passing such a judgement on people who do like the "body horror" sub-genre is idiotic.
This movie is rapidly becoming this years Two Girls One Cup, people starting threaRAB asking if anyone has seen it, people replying - everyone getting grossed out...
I did the same, found a place to stream it back when it seemed the UK was going to pass on releasing this. I thought it was just brilliant, it's obviously meant to be a dark comedy, people are taking it far too seriously. It was very entertaining. Dieter Laser particularly was just awesome.
Everyone keeps talking about how this is the film that's gone too far and everything, but it really isn't. So the premise is pretty disgusting, but the film itself is nowhere near as gory or disgusting as any of the Saw or Hostel films, or any of the other torture films we constantly get these days.
I'm actually eagerly awaiting the sequel. The teaser trailer was amazing.
Well, since the only thing the middle and end segments would be consuming is waste they'd start dying of blood poisoning/malnutrition pretty quickly... plus there's absolutely no way they wouldn't be vomiting and thus choking to death on it.
I've seen most of it and to be honest it's more ridiculous than horrifying; like when they're
moaning on the floor while he's trying to eat, which makes him just throw down his napkin in irritation, as though he's in a noisy restaurant
It's just pretty hard to believe that it's meant to be a serious film with all the narm ('feed her! feed her!' )
