Has anyone seen this film ?
I was somewhat undecided before while at my local Odean, wether to see Hulk or this ... I chose Hulk .

On leaving the picturehouse I saw the manager an asked him what it was like, he had just seen it earlier,

Its another pile of poo from M. Night Shyamalan he told me ...
Glad I saved my money this time unlike the last film I sat through of his, Lady in the Water,

What are your opinions on this film ?

I thought the film was really atmospheric, loved the rising sense of panic as the happening escalated and the characters became more and more isolated.

I didn't think the trailers weren't misleading and the whole concept of the film was thought provoking and it was a reminder that nature is unpredictable and cannot be controlled by man.

It was way better than 'The Incredible Hulk' = 8/10 :)

oh my god this film redefines the word "terrible"

truly, truly abysmal film - one of the worst things ever committed to celluloid, and that's saying something considering Eli Roth is still making films.

Even at 90 odd minutes, it was still half an hour too long.

large portions of nothing whatsoever happening and large portions of not really much making sense at all.

i think it would have been better if the trademark twist was that it was actually an alien virus "preparing" the earth for colonisation by getting everyone to kill themselves.

it still wouldn't have saved the film from being a steaming great pile of crap, but it would have at least left me with something slightly better than the feeling of anger I had on wasting my money on this crap.

"We all go a little mad sometimes."

What a ridiculous, miserable waste of celluloid. Shyamalan has well and truly hit rock bottom.

If you would like to see Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel give performances worse than that of your average teen slasher flick... see this stinker. I'm done discussing this one.

I'm looking forward to seeing this film. Any film where loaRAB of people die, especially because the reason in the film, has got to be good.
I thought "Lady in the Water" was a good film, wondering who was who in terms of their tasks and what it was all about.
M Night films are a bit "Emperors New Clothes" but they make you think.

If that is it ...in the spoiler tags .... I wont go an I saved my money today ,:) :)

Dont get me wrong I can watch any old obscure film , saw a terrific film on sky awhile ago about a Iranian love triangle an it was superb ...

btw from other board reviews its his usual pretentious diatribe ..

I haven't seen it yet but I haven't heard good things. I think MNS could do with directing something he hasn't written himself to be honest.

finkly
You hit the nail on the head there , regarding MNS he cannot direct .. he can write a spooky tale .. I give him that but he is directing on par with Troy Duffy ,lol
