the garmin 200w tells the wrong direction!?

the Garmin doesn't West from

East!
it only does that if I have gone to the south suburbs and I am returning North....what gives?
 
Simple solution...take it back to where you bought it if it is new. Otherwise, get a new one that works.
 
Read the book; In "settings", set the screen to show "direction up" instead of "North up". Apparently you have it set to 'North Up" ~~~~ I have had nothing but great results for six years and three different Garmin sets.

Also: If the Garmin cannot find a street name, just tap in the street and ignore the city. It will come back with all streets of the same name and the city where they are located. Just select the city of choice.

When cruising to a destination, touch the lower left, :time of"arrival" and it will display your accurate speed. Many other tricks. Read the book!
 
garmin sat navs are shit!!...i have one and its 5 seconds behind on every turn, wrong directions and thats with 2009 maps. Sell it and get a new one thats what im gonna do with mine
