I am addressing the current trend of taking pictures of every social situation, to show we are fully-functioning members of society...
Anyone who has been to a concert in the last few years will testify as to how annoying it is when every second person in the row in front is waving a camera or camera phone about.
I have seen numerous examples in London of people falling over, or arguing in the street - instead of trying to appease or help their fellow man, people just whip out their camera-phone.
Is it slightly ironic that in a society which we complain about being monitored and surveyed by CCTV, we ourselves are filming and picturing every nondescript event in our lives, from having a pint to sleeping.
Do you tire, or are you worried to what extent this 'paparazzi culture' will permeate our everyday lives?
Or, are you a happy snapper?
