The DS Eurovision Thread (Part 8)

The date and venue for Danish Melodi Grand Prix have been announced. The show will take place on Saturday February 26th at the 'Ballerup SuperArena' in the city of Ballerup just outside Copenhagen. :)
 
Knuckles duly rapped.....will be working tomorrow with my i-pod glued to my ears with the playlist on repeat.

I was sooooo tempted to enter Duck Sauce - Barbra Streisand for the next round, it's hypnotically terrible in a fantastic way. I love it.:o:D:D

Germany have a long history of sending people with dire hair to Eurovision - Roger Cicero being a good example of this, frankly we should just be happy that Lena HAD hair
 
Really? I don't have a clue what is likely to have won this time - I reckon the song I have given my 12 to is no where near the top, but I'm bordering on the obsessed with it right now :o

:D:D I'm torturing myself with Dzuli at the moment. Christ it's painfully cheerful. The bargain basement staging seems so appropriate to the song.

Am I remembering it wrong or is it really true that this was Pete Waterman's first foray into Eurovision territory, albeit in a very tenuous way?
 
good grief chaps, there was a song that I was convinced that the two of you would be dukeing it out for - do you mean to say that someone got there first?! I didn't dare go for it myself, it would have been like taking Ani Lorak away from Nathan a few weeks back, unthinkable!!
 
Apparently Xenomania pulled out of negotiations because the BBC wouldn't give them any guarantee that the chosen song would be played on their radio stations. :mad:
