The DS Eurovision Thread (Part 8)

I think he means the usernames not being revealed.

This is a good contest. There's just so much shit to choose from. I hope I've got one of my choices, they're just so awful.

oh drat. Thanks for the votes guys, but this deserved a much harder kicking imo. It's Eastenders set to "music" and it's loathesome. And Daz himself is more than a little creepy.

Here's the results of the Best of British for the last 20 years if anyone wants a reminder....

Best British Entry of the last 20 years (run by Only_You)

1st: 1997 - Katrina and The Waves - Love Shine a Light

Ha that's why it was so funny! Hearing OOOOOHHHHHH screaming out several times a day! So random!

Before I knew the translation, I found it funny that Severina seems to say;

"Sex sex sex sex", "Shits, shits", "Africa, Paprika"!

Upon reading the translation I realise 2 out of the 3 were right! So random!

All you have to do is choose your favourite entry from the following current and former Balkan nations, this includes;

Slovenia
Croatia
Bosnia & Herzegovina
Serbia
Montenegro
FYR Macedonia
-----------------------------------
Yugoslavia (1961-1992)
Serbia&Montenegro (2004 & 2005)

Submit your entry plus 2 back-ups by 6pm on Wednesday October 13th. The full list of entrants will be revealed shortly after and voting will commence.

Award your points in tradition eurovision style; 1-8, 10 & 12 and submit them by 6pm on Sunday October 17th.

Good Luck!!!!

So is it "Best of the Balkans" or "Worst Eurovision Entry"? Or is that the same? :p

Didn't you book a week to run a competition? We need a timetable monitor. :D

EDIT Last question is for Anne! *wrong quote*

Ah, but if you are going to ban countries because of the douze point exchange, you will have to ban Greece and Cyprus, and Belarus and Russia, and half the Balkans and Baltics.:)

Same here! But I want to go with a song that not many people will know, as marrakech said, one of the joys of these competitions is that we are being exposed to new songs :)

Albania could have at least waited until Boxing Day. I'm generally at a loss on that day!

I think Albania is one of my favourite Eurovision nations, I always think of them fondly - Juliana Pasha and Kejsi Tola especially deserved to do so much better in their respective years.
