The DS Eurovision Thread (Part 8)

Speaking of female fronted Swedish schlager, is it normal that over the course of this evening whilst listening to songs of Eurovisions past, I've felt the uncontrollable urge to point a hair dryer at my face and switch it on to full blast at the key change of both "Hero" and "Invincible"?
 
Now that there are likely to be three weeks of Fantasy Eurovision, are these semis with qualification for a final or just three separate contests?

It would be good to attempt a "live" results post session some Sunday night when the organiser could call each poster in turn and they could give their votes from 1 to 12 separately and live. Is this possible? It would be all screwed up if one of the contestants did not post on cue! Just a thought for a future attempt!
 
I have kinda the same experience with the polish girls in accounts where I work... I think I knew more about the polish music scene than they did! And the girls in my office are being so kind and pretending to be interested in my news on the latest poll on RAB! God help them when the NF season starts! :D
 
I've been checking every couple of days recently, as I knew it was due out, and it doesn't disappoint! Man alive, never has fake blood looked quite so glamorous .... it's an amazing vid, one for my iPod I reckon

I thought you weer supposed to choose a song you thought would do well in ESC.

Kind of agree with you, though, and probably won't give a lot of points to songs I heard a million times before...
 
I've got my top ten easy enough but this is going to be a hard one to order. I nearly chose Maria HS as my entry this time - again!

Although I did have a few options going on, this was the real contender to my choice:

Everybody knows that the typical Eurovision hater always thinks of Eurovision as being the festival for the worst music ever to exist in the history of recorded sound. Now as diehard Eurovision fans like us we all know that this is absolute rubbish and that anybody with such thoughts deserves to be hung, drawn and quartered. But let's face it, sometimes and I do mean sometimes there is the odd song from ESC which actually proves their point
which is why I want all the regulars at this forum to enter the song which they think is the worst ESC song ever.

It's a bit like what BigBMad did a few months ago, only the complete opposite, it can be anything, no matter what song it is just aslong as you think it's terrible, the kind of song that would make you envy the deaf. When all the entries have been submitted I will reveal all the songs that have been entered and ask you all to give ye old 1-12 points by giving 12 points to the worst song of the lot. As EuroChris did I will not reveal who picked which song just to avaoid any tactical blockvoting! (:D)

So basically, PM me with your entry and I will let you know that I got your vote, however if your entry has already been picked then I'll ask you to pick another one. Also, as the host of this contest I will not be entering it, just because I'd confuse myself! :p

Also, I read somewhere tonight that Turkey have confirmed an internal selection, but we all knew that right?
