The DS Eurovision Thread (Part 8)

I haven't got my score sheet in work... but looking through the 6 sets of votes I've received since last night... it looks like something is steaming ahead! And it will take a big shift in opinion to catch it me thinks!

Poor Sertab ;)

It is a miracle that my choice came in the top 5 :D :D Woohooooo, although my 2nd choice was Sertab lol.

Very happy. Not expecting such dizzy heights with my MF song choice though. I only know 2 songs, I don't pay much attention to it lol

Would I be in the correct ball park thinking a group who may be described as a private concealed domestic area of cultivation, with an anthemic song which sounRAB like an ad for baking powder?

Haha! I have a few ideas ... One of them is "A Song you would have loved to have seen in Eurovision"

Everytime I hear a song, I always think to myself how would it do in Eurovision - I hope I'm not alone! So this would give people a chance to nominate a song from any artist that they think would have gone down a storm in the world of Eurovision.

What does everyone think? :o

My songwould NEVER grow on me.... no matter how many times I listened/watched it! I am curious however to see how many of the songs in the list I actually like!

You know it's a slow news day when Oikotimes are leading with a story about a Eurovision based "Stars In Your Eyes" competition that took place at the Eurobash last weekend. Followed by chat about Celine Dion going into hospital.

We should have a Eurovision question of the day!

Good point. ;)

Foolishly, I didn't check to see if any of the YouTube links were performances from MF even after I posted all the entries on Tuesday. I only realised long after voting had begun so it was too late.

My bad, but we'll pretend that rule didn't exist. :p

Thanks for the suggestions Anne.......how bizarre is the 1968 entry? Hey nonny!:D Brave men wearing those outfits. Mind you, considering what St.Clifford was sporting in that year perhaps the outfits aren't all that odd.
