Oh boo! But to be fair I actually don't mind this song lol... it's just the awful Joe... I wasn't expecting to do well with this judging by the comments about it earlier in the week :)

I do think that The Promise is a decent song but that performance doesn't help its' chances. Only the blonde and ginger are bearable listening wise. You can see the anguish in Simon's face as he realises Cheryl sounRAB bad and he's still going to have to kiss her (f)arce! I do love the shot of Dannii looking beyond bored.
 
Just seen this story on Oikotimes (I know, I know . . . pinch of salt and all that). It's basically saying that the Spanish parliment are demanding a good result in 2011 or else the participation fee is a complete waste of money. TVE can disqualify any act if they think they don't live up to the artisitic levels that are expected or if they are heavily promoted by the local media.

So no novelty for Spain in 2011 then? :p

:D Happy I'm not the only one who loves this. I've now discovered more of Arja's national final efforts, including her 1990 Finnish effort, which is great also!
 
A question for EuroChris........you said in your opening spiel for this poll that our choices had to have a performance vid available on Youtube or any of its equivalents, so how come Calaisa's entry is allowed without the benefit of such?:confused:
