The DS Eurovision Thread (Part 8)

Not really sure if I got my first choice, but suppose I did. Going to Israel today, and maybe not logged on so much for a while, but will try to vote (have to pay for internet. Grr...)

Will look for Harel of course :)

Booking the days off is the only answer! I'm a bit nervous about MF final, it's a night shift and they are notoriously difficult to get off at the best of times, let alone on a Saturday night ... but have put in for it anyway :D

I am so shocked at my low placing! Thank you for the few votes, especially NightFox_Dancer!

What makes it worse is that Alenka Gotar was my 1st choice as an entry! I am at least happy she won but I can't help singing "it should have been me!" Congratulations marrakech :D

About to send my fantasy entry - please let it not be taken!

I do think Helena P might enter MF11, but not sure if the Swedish press would go nuts about it. She was supposed to take part this year, but something happened, but then they said she was likely to appear in 2011, but I think it's been a rumour ever since 2006 :)

Quick update.
22 votes received to date.

Votes not received yet (from song entrants):
Pepsi_Max_Kid, NightFox_Dancer, thms.
A cunning plan perhaps to boost their songs chances by not increasing other scores? :)

There's something about No Name that is so incredibly .... Balkan, the different beats, the movement on stage, I love it!

As you probably know, I'm a huge Tose Proeski fan, but I just couldn't find a space for him, ditto Anzej Dezan (Slovenia 2006)

Looking back on the Croatian entries though there are some fantastic songs, really impressed with their back catalogue!

I remember that so well.....it made me laugh to think they were singing a song pleading for harmony and understanding whilst the group were at each others throats! IIRC, the other 5 were no longer on speaking terms with the main brunette by the time they performed.:D:D
