Warning! My Post contains major Spoilers so please avoid my Post completely if you really don't want it to be Spoiled thank you

.
I've seen "The Dark Knight" today and I can honestly say hand on heart I LOVED it to bits

! Film Of The Year for me personally.
Heath Ledger was brilliant as The Joker IMO so believe all the hype people (IMO), he truly is the Character you love to hate. I especially loved his little "pencil" trick

and Heath Fans if you're reading this let me assure you now that you guys will NOT be disappointed

. However, the one thing I don't agree with it's the whole "he carried the whole Film" because as excellent as he was he didn't do it alone, they ALL carried the Movie together with him IMO.
Christian Bale once again proved what a perfect Bruce Wayne/Batman he truly is. Despite all his faults (one of the main reasons why Batman is my favourite Superhero of all time, nobody likes a pure goody 2 shoes

) his heart is in the right place. Especially liked how they've acknowledged that where ever Batman goes there comes a price where tragedy strikes somebody else one way or another.
And how can I ignore Aaron Eckhart? He was just perfect as Harvey Dent/Two-Face and I have to say this Film truly did do the character of Harvey Dent/Two-Face justice with the way they‘ve dealt with the rise and fall of his Character. The one thing that has always admired me about Harvey Dent/Two-Face is that he is such a complex/misunderstood Villain and not just an "Ooooooh I'm an uber Eval baddy out to kill you all!" type of Villain. In fact he's the type of Villain you just can't help but have sympathy for

(well, he's always has been for me anyway). As for the ending is Harvey Dent/Two-Face really dead? IMO I have a very funny feeling he's not for these reasons...
1. They never said he was dead, hell they didn't even check his pulse!
2. The Dialogue between Bruce Wayne/Batman and Gordon seemed to hint that he was still alive and needed protection for both his own sake and Gotham’s Sakes hence why Bruce Wayne/Batman was willing to take all the blame for him. After all he always did believe in Harvey Dent and Gordon doing that Memorial seemed more like he’s trying to cover Harvey Dent/Two-Face ‘s tracks so that no one will know what Harvey Dent/Two-Face’s really done whilst also keeping Harvey Dent/Two-Face hidden (Arkham Asylum Maybe?????). Plus all we ever saw was a big fat photograph, not once did they ever show a Coffin.
3. Harvey Dent/Two-Face’s Story didn’t really seem that finished, if anything this seemed more like a preparation for them to use him again in the future (well, that‘s what it felt like to me anyway).
4. Bit more of a silly reason here really, he was breathing quite heavily. OK I know we have caught “dead” Characters breathing heavily before be this was WAY too obviously heavy even for them.
5. The Joker pretty much told Batman that he has prepared Harvey Dent/Two-Face to take over from his place (again preparing them to use him again in the future).
6. Bruce Wayne/Batman would never, EVER kill someone no matter how evil they were. Hell he couldn’t even kill the bloody Joker so what on earth would process him to kill his own best friend and the one person he truly believes in to save Gotham? This would just be so out of Character for Bruce Wayne/Batman IMO.
7. Not really confirmed still rumoured but apparently the 3rd Film is to be about Harvey Dent/Two-Face. Like I said this is only a rumour at the mo so please don’t take it as fact (personally I really do hope it‘s true but I‘ll take this with a pinch of salt for now).
Personally I truly do hope he’s in the next Film, he’s shown so much potential in this Film and I think it’d be such a shame and a waste if they don’t take advantage of that IMO.
I have to say though both Harvey Dent/Two-Face and The Joker are my favourite "Batman" Villains (Harvey Dent/Two-Face for the reasons I've just mentioned and he Joker for being such a pure evil person you love to hate plus the fact that he‘s a psycho clown makes him even more scary IMO) and to see them together has made the nerdy side of me excited/happy.
And of course we have the support Characters. Gary Oldman was once again brilliant as Gordon and I especially liked how we saw a much more stronger side to his Character in this Film. Morgan Freeman once again brill and his Character had a lot more to do this time. I was a bit gutted that there was very, VERY little of Alfred in this Film though (I like Alfred

) but from what little screen time he had, Michael Caine did not disappoint.
The only thing I’m not too fond of is the Character of Rachel I’m sorry to say. Before I go any further let me just make it clear that I have nothing against Maggie Gyllenhaal in fact she seems like a really nice person to me however; not even she could save Rachel for me. I just never really warmed to Rachel and I really didn’t give 2 hoots when she died. In fact the only time when I did show SOME sympathy for her death was only because of Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent so once again thanks to the brilliant Acting from both Christian Bale and Aaron Eckhart (but mostly Aaron Eckhart though). So yeah that’s my thoughts on Rachel anyway.
Also why the hell was Scarecrow only in this Film for 5 minutes in the beginning getting caught by Batman? He might as well have not been here at all IMO (but that’s just a minor problem).
So all in all a truly brilliant Film and definitely Movie Of The Year for me. 10/10 from me

.
You know I loved this so much I’m going to watch this again

!
Whew! What an awfully long Post!
