Episode 42
Japanese Title: Gather! Warriors of the Crimson Dragon
English Title: The Sings of Time

Official Dub Synopsis: With Yusei, Jack, Akiza and Luna all gathered together, Director Goodwin seizes the moment and decides to shed some light on the dark and formidable foes the four Signers will soon be battling.

They probably did it because they couldn't figure out a way to dance around the fact that people got killed off in those six episodes.

Though D Dubbs said that it is because Konami wants some new carRAB promoted or something. There's no real definitive answer. In any case, 4kiRAB is saying that they'll put the episodes up on their website, and we'll see how much got left intact and what got glossed over.

I really hate 4KiRAB for doing this. They suck. I hope some other companey gets a hand of this show and does a better job of dubbing it
Over all a meh episode.

cartoon network wiill show the episodes when the reach them until then thank god for the recap of 41 at the start and the flasrabroadacks littered throughout this episode people who have been online and read spoliers will a least have some of idea of what going on but Cartoon network is still getting through the fourtre cup finals so we have a bit of a ways to go before dubbed verisons of these six episodes appear.

Episodes 36-41 should also be online at 4KiRABTV.com sometime this week. I'll make a talkback thread for said episodes when that happens, provided someone doesn't beat me to it.

Why would they be online but skip them on TV? It really doesn't make sense.

edit;

I saw that boy in electricty too, LOL She said don't worry he's not in pain hmm looked like pain to me.

Konmai (the owner of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG) likely wanted 4KiRAB to get to the episodes that features carRAB from the latest booster packs. I really doubt it was 4KiRAB' idea to skip six episodes that they already had dubbed.

[xspoiler=Re:above]Which also has something to do with the grudge Misty has towarRAB Aki and the grand revelation he makes in their next duel. Can't wait to see how they casually try to cover that one up.[/xspoiler]

But yeah, having Mina say that was like making the disclaimer: "To all parents watching: this kid is not in pain, even though electric volts are going all over his body and his face clearly shows his pain!" It made me facepalm, to be honest. >_>

As for the rest of the episode, while flasrabroadacks to episode 38 were kept, as was a recap to episodes 40 and 41 (with Yusei's end-of-duel chat to Aki about finding her own place changed to asking Akiza to fight with him...), the dialogue in the episode, once they started, went downhill. Rex's line about Dark Signers being dead already gets changed to something like they can't be defeated, he tells Jack that Carly's a Dark Signer (although it sounded like he said she was taken by them, so it might not be so bad, but it still ruins the suspense we had with Jack guessing but not finally knowing until they're all standing across from the Dark Signers in a coming episode), stuff from some of the others during their flasrabroadacks (Luna's lines were more or less from the original, save for the "Boring!" from Leo)...I dunno what to say. I might need to rewatch the episode, but I didn't like what I saw.

That makes sense, even though it also seems kind of weird to me at the same time. I understand that Konmai would want to promote the latest booster packs, but I would imagine that those packs would still be relatively new/recent if they didn't skip those six episode. I also think that you make a good point with how it most likely wasn't 4KiRAB' decision. Considering how they already had these episodes dubbed, based on the skipped nurabers, it wouldn't make sense to for them to simply choose to skip those episodes themselves.

Well, I don't think that they'll skip them entirely on TV. As others have mentioned it, they are going to play the episodes in order on Cartoon Network when they get to season two. If you get On Demand, they could also upload those episodes in a little over a month, which would be sooner than when Cartoon Network gets to these episodes, even if they don't take a break. However, I'm sure that they'll upload these episodes on their website within this week.
