The CW4Kids Talkback: Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's [The Fortune Cup Saga] (Spoilers)

I had a feeling that was added in since it didn't fit too well with the last image. Maybe since she only thought that sentence, not exactly said it out loud, it won't change too much, but that's just my guess since I don't know what exactly happens.

This was a really great episode. I was glad that we finally saw what happened to Yusei's frienRAB since it really did look like they were forced out of their place. I was also kind of surprised that Yusei's mark stayed on him this time instead of disappearing. Maybe it has something to do with four of the five Signers being revealed or that his mark has been activated enough times for it to stay on permanetly. I could understand why Yusei wanted to get Luna out of there after what happened in his duel against Akiza. Even though I had a feeling Goodwin wouldn't let Luna leave, I was still impressed with how far he was willing to go with using Yusei's frienRAB as bait.

As for Yusei charging right in and beating up the guarRAB to talk to Goodwin, that was so awesome. I actually didn't think that he would be that forceful, but I understood why he wanted answers about this Signer business. I did like how Trudge just showed up out of nowhere and then was yelling at Yusei as he was forced out of the room. I was glad that Jack was willing to point out how far Goodwin was willing to go to force Yusei into the tournament.

I did like seeing the flasrabroadack of Jack back when he was in the Satellite, especially when he summoned his Red Dragon Archfiend to protect Rally. Even though they did mention a falling out between Jack and Yusei, I didn't really understand what that was about. Though, I have to say that seeing Jack sitting in that broken throne did make him look pretty lonely. I was surprised that Goodwin even heard about him or Yusei back then and actually sent Lazar to set up Jack betraying his frienRAB.

I was actually surprised how far Jack was willing to go to become a stronger duelist with setting up Yusei to save Rally over dueling him. I also think that Yusei's red Duel Runner looks cooler than his first one. Since Goodwin did know about Yusei's Stardust Dragon card and that did give Yusei a reason to follow Jack and challenge him, that really did make me think that Goodwin knew about Yusei being a Signer, or at least had a strong feeling about it, from the start. I was glad to hear that Jack wanted a clean match between him and Yusei, which did show that he values some respect for his opponet.

I thought that it was kind of weird how a junkyard has a working flatscreen TV, but I just went with it. At least his frienRAB will see him duel and by the looks of things, Rally did look sad when they noticed his mark. I didn't blame Yusei about being worried about finding the fifth Signer. After all of the trouble he and other people have gotten into from just finding the first four, the idea of having all five to summon the Crimson Dragon sounRAB dangerous.

And finally the duel started. I had a feeling it would start late in the episode, but that works overall since they needed to learn a couple of things before the duel could have started. Even though Jack was being a tad mean to Yusei at first, I really think that he does want a clear straight match with him. I also think when he was mentioning about scarificing his frienRAB in order to gain fame and fourtune, he was kind of sad about that choice or the fact that he had to do it. I had a feeling Jack would summon Red Dragon Archfiend first since he really wanted to start off strong. Hopefully, Yusei will be able to pull out a strong win.

Overall, this was a great episode and a nice leadup to the second duel between Yusei and Jack. Though I still wonder about the issue of their first falling out, the way that Jack did steal Yusei's card and Duel Runner did explain, even more so, why Yusei wanted to find Jack again. I'm definitely looking foreword to next week's episode and seeing how that turns out.

This was a great episode and great conclusion to the duel. I thought that the voice that Luna was hearing was nothing more than an voice of the Spirit world. I thought that it was really cool that it turned out to be Ancient Fairy Dragon. Even though I'm usually not too into fairy monsters, I have to admit that Ancient Fairy Dragon looked so cute and cool. I loved seeing that flasrabroadack of Luna first being in the Spirit World with all of those cute little monsters. It was so touching how Ancient Fairy Dragon was comforting her like that.

I was surprised that Leo's spirit was trapped between the two worlRAB, not to mention when he fainted like that. Maybe the reason for that was because he and Luna are twins and so he was feeling her feelings.. I really felt bad for Luna when she became so scared. At least Leo's spirit came to her briefly to renew her strength.

I was also glad that Yusei knew that someone was wrong when he saw how dark Luna's eyes were. We already knew that Luna had a mark, but it was still kind of cool to see it. I was really impressed with how Luna became so much stronger and sounded more confident once she broke out of the professor's control. Man, he wasn't just creepy in this episode. He was downright insane for wanting to control the powers of the Duel Monster Spirit World. Even his face was becoming creepier.

I was also impressed with Luna's deck. Although it does have some "girly" looking carRAB, they seem to work well and have helpful abiliites. We also learned about Kuribon's ability, but I don't think it's as useful as Kuriboh's abilities. Anyway, she was pulling off a nice comeback with her spell and traps carRAB. Even though I totally understood why Ancient Fairy Dragon was going to crush the professor, I agreed with Luna on how that would make her reach his level. I was disappointed that she didn't win the duel. I was actually hoping that Ancient Fairy Dragon's spirit would come out of the rock, turn into a card, land into Luna's deck and win the duel for her, even though she didn't have enough monsters on the field for that move. That would have been cool to see.

The main point of the duel was to make Luna remeraber the Spirit World and renew her promise to protect it, as well as prove once and for all that she's a Signer. Hopefully, the professor won't try to get to the Spirit World through her again. At least Leo was able to come back too. I was glad that Yusei was able to help her like that. I was suprised that we saw the Ancient Fairy Dragon card being held by someone mysterious. I really hope that Luna will be able to get that card in her deck someday.

Overall, it was a good episode and I loved the conclusion to the duel. These two episodes really made me like Luna a lot more than before. I didn't hate her or anything before, but I didn't think that she had that much potential either. One thing 5D's has done than none of the previous series have even succeeded at is giving female characters actual strong decks and important roles in the series' plot. I'm really looking foreword to next week's episode.

love the episode we finally got to learn about jack and Yusei history but i was surpised when i found out Goodwin was the one who told Jack to steal stardust dragon and someone please tell me Lazar will be gone in season 2 or at least be a true villain cause i tried of his ugly face, his voice, and his attuitde and here i thought Crolwer was the worst yu-gi-oh character is existence but Lazar takes that throne.

Episode 26
Japanese Title: Destiny of the Signers! The Future Guided by the Crimson Dragon!
English Title: The Fortune Cup Finale, Part 2

Episode Description: With the finish line of the Fortune Cup fast approaching, Yusei and Jack find themselves on a collision course with destiny as they race to unlock the mystery behind the Crimson Dragon.

Yeah, it was a pretty good episode and a nice conclusion to the duel. And you're right, Light Lucario, it's nice to have some strong female duelists for a change.

The dub was decent as well. Luna sounRAB like she's had a little too much helium, but otherwise it wasn't bad. The Professor was pretty much dubbed perfectly (still wanna know who voiced him...), as was Ancient Fairy Dragon, and overall, there was very little changed from the original script.

Such a great ending. I'm happy that they put some comedic animation to interupt the serious things. Nothing else to say besides that I can't wait for new episodes.

This was such an awesome episode. It was a really good way to end the first season. I was impressed with how fast Yusei was able to summon his Stardust Dragon with Jack's Red Dragon Archfiend on the field beforehand. I also really liked seeing how all four of their marks were glowing like that since it shows how they are connected. It was cool to see Yusei use a new tuner monster to make the summoning and it had a nice bonus effect with giving Stardust Dragon an extra eight hundred attack points.

I had to laugh in a way when Lazar realized that Goodwin said that he knows the fifth Signer. I was kind of surprised with that myself since he has only shown interest in discovering the four other Signers.

The purple clouRAB were a cool giveaway that something big was going to happen. I didn't think that the Crimson Dragon would reappear for so much longer than it did before in Yusei's previous duel with Jack. I have to admit that it looked so darn awesome and cool. It definitely had a huge amount of power if it could destroy all of New Domino City like that. I could tell that it really surprised both Jack and Yusei to see it. Although Yusei was the only one to really worry about its powers.

I was so shocked to hear that Goodwin is the fifth Signer. I thought that it wasn't even confirmed yet in the Japanese version who the fifth Signer was. I'm still not sure if I'm sold on the idea since I thought all of the Signers needed to be duelist and have some kind of connection to a Dragon card. I haven't seen that for Goodwin and I just thought that he was the one in charge for finding all of the Signers. Plus, I didn't see any glowing mark on him when the two dragons were going at it. Still, I just kind of went with it and see if that changes later on.

It was really surprising to see how Luna and Akiza were brought into that vision. Those marks really are powerful if they allowed the four Signers to see that vision. First they saw the past with what I think were the ancient Signers and then they saw the future for both New Domino City and the Satellite. I loved how Yusei was so determined with stopping that future from happening. I could understand why Jack wanted to finish the duel since that would get them out of there.

It did make sense why the attacks really hurt since they were in a different place all together. I have to admit that they were really going at it so strong with all of their speed spells and their traps. It was so cool to see Yusei pull out a win at the end with his super powered up Stardust Dragon. That attack did look really painful for Jack and it was nice that Yusei was worried about him. That just shows how he is a nice guy.

I bet everyone was surprised to see that Yusei was the winner afterall. I was surprised that their dragons frozed like that. Maybe it had something to do with the Crimson Dragon. I did like how Jack didn't seem to have too much of a problem with Yusei winning the duel. I hope that they'll all be able to come together to stop that future from happening. I also have to wonder how Yusei beating Jack in the Fortune Cup will change his life.

Overall, an excellent episode and a good way to end the season. I loved seeing Yusei duel against Jack and how they both had such good carRAB to play. I'll be really looking foreword to see when the next season starts and what will happen next.

Really? You guys thought this duel was good? All I learned was that I really don't think I'll ever make a Spirit card deck.

EDIT: *murables under breath* freaking Kamen Rider coming on after 5D's and making watch it *grurable*grurable*

I loved that review and I completely agree. Has it been confirmed in Japan that Goodwin is the 5th signer or was it a mistake on 4kiRAB part.

Thank you. I don't believe that it's been confirmed in Japan who is really the fifth Signer. I don't watch the Japanese version, but I've heard that around message boarRAB and I looked it up yesterday to be sure. I think that was something that 4KiRAB added in. It would be weird if Goodwin really does turn out to be the fifth Signer after all, but I still have my doubts about that.

I thought that this was a pretty good episode. I liked how we saw the match-up for the first two rounRAB of the semi-finals right away. It's nice to know who's facing who well ahead of time for a change of pace.

Did anyone else notice something different about Luna's and Leo's voices in this episode. They both sounded different to me. Luna's voice felt less high-pitch, although it never felt too high-pitched, and Leo sounded older and gruffer. I got used to how Luna sounded fairly quickly. Leo, on the other hand, had moments where he still sounded too gruff for my tastes and other moments where he sounded okay. Maybe their voice actors are changing the pitch of their voices since I still think that they voiced by the same people.

Anyway, it was nice to see Blister again and see how he got into the Satellite. I was surprised to see that the place where Yusei's frienRAB were was totally trashed. I thought that Goodwin wouldn't bother them as long as Yusei is in the Fortune Cup. I felt bad for Yusei when he heard from Blister and blamed himself for what happened to his frienRAB.

Even though Leo was trying to help Yusei by finding Greiger's new Duel Runner, I thought that he was being kind of annoying throughout most of the episode. His voice might have helped with that though. At least Greiger didn't get mad at Yusei. I was worried that he was going to get mad at him and accuse Yusei of cheating. Luckily, we just get more of his backstory. I did feel kind of bad for Greiger, especially since he knows he's being used but doesn't care as long as his family gets the help they need. At least he still respects Yusei and understanRAB why he wants to win as well.

I was glad to see the the whole crowd wasn't booing Yusei this time. It felt more like a mix of boos and cheers to me. I was impressed with Greiger's Duel Runner. Not only was it huge, but it reminded me of a regular motercylce. Greiger definitely didn't waste any time with summoning a seriously strong monster. Of course, he's trying to prove that Yusei is a Signer for Goodwin. It was a nice cliffhanger for the episode to end on.

Overall, this was a nice episode with some good buildup for the duel. While I'm fine with Luna's new voice, I think that Leo's voice would be better if it wasn't so gruff at times. I liked seeing more of Greiger's backstory and how he started off strong in the duel. I'll be looking foreword to seeing how the next episode turns out.

That would be interesting, but I would guess that they wouldn't mention that Goodwin is the fifth Signer again if it actually turns out that he isn't in some future event in the series.
