So 4kids is putting the new 5Ds episodes online why? How many kids actually go to their site? Their videos have no view count, so I have no idea. If Mark would release that info publicly, it would be nice.

As much as I love and enjoy watching DM, I wish that it wasn't replacing 5D's on the block, especially since things are getting really interesting with the Dark Signer arc. Plus, almost the entire series is out on DVD, except for the last episodes of the Waking the Dragons arc and 5D's is still running in Japan. It is nice that they're going to put up new episodes of 5D's on their website. Still, I'm one of those people who prefer to watch shows on TV or DVD as apposed to online. If Cartoon Network was closer to where the CW4Kids airings are, then I probably wouldn't be too bothered by this. At least I've been able to watch the season two episodes again since I've gotten On Demand.

It also could be possible that they'll eventually put 5D's back on their lineup. I didn't think that the ratings were that bad, especially since they get a cut from the card profits for just airing the show regardless of how popular it actually gets.

I'm actually surprised that they're playing a movie during their block too. If they're willing to do that for Kirby, maybe it means that it's possible to show other movies/specials on their block, such as the Winx Club movie.

I really wish that everyone can get off the fact that the Winx Club is returning besides it coming back to the schedule. I mean if we do get the film, which will probably be a never, or the fourth season, which would be pushing it since the merchandise, to me, didn't sell as much as 4kids hoped, then it'll be another cry fgor help for the company's just letting a bunch of dead corpses rot on their network until someone can bail them out from their economic rut they're in now and give them some new shows.

Looking at the schedules, I barely even watch most of the shows now save for the occassional TMNT, Dinosaur King, Kamen Rider, and Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's. I'll even add in Sonic X and Winx Club to that list but those shows will be shown at different times over here, I wouldn't be surprised that I slept through them. So much for getting ratings over in MD 4Kids.

Here's the thing. Besides Turtles Forever, that's pretty much it for the year because honestly, there's nothing good on this block. Not even Rollbots impressed me from the commercials I've seen especially the one I saw when I was watching the wedding episode of TMNT: Back to the Sewers through Comcast On-Demand this morning and that'll get old pretty fast especially if 4Kids and the companies behind the show are going to expect kids to watch little ball creatures with legs and arms battle evil. They would have more fun playing with Bakugan than play with those action figures.

CW4Kids is passable and while normally, I would sit through the whole block, most of what they're showing are long overdue to just be removed premanently from TV and just be cused to released on DVD/Blu-Ray for now on because I don't want 4Kids to go like this. I know it's getting new episodes for a lot of its shows but it won't be long until it's back to Rerun City and we'll be stuck with repetitive airplay of all of these shows. So yeah, 4Kids, I'm sorry but you're off my TV watch list even if it is, like I stated before, only for one of your dubbed series.

Ugh, I'm not a fan of this schedule at all. Basically because I'll have to actively dodge the Sonic X reruns that I've seen enough times. Really, 4Kids, it doesn't even pull in that great of numbers anymore. Let it go. It doesn't even really need one slot, much less two (and good slots, too!).

I really wish they'd concentrate the new episodes on the block some more. For me, it's like watch Rollbots at 8:00, tune out for the Sonic X and Yu-Gi-Oh! reruns (if they're starting over from the beginning AGAIN, I'll scream), tune in for new Dinosaur King, tune out for another Sonic X rerun I'm sick of, then tune in for the TMNT Countdown and Chaotic.

I really wish they'd jsut kept 5D's on instead of putting back on the old Yu-Gi-Oh!. I liked the series and all, but I know they'll be airing Duelist Kingdom again and I have no desire to see that. 5D's was getting good, and hey, it was winning its timeslot since moving to 9:00. I have to see to believe that old Yu-Gi-Oh! reruns will do any better than what 5D's was doing.

There's more of the library they can dig into then just SONIC X AND WINX CLUB AND ORIGINAL YU-GI-OH! AGAIN. Viva Pinata did good numbers on the CW4Kids for the few weeks it was on there, and there's still 12 episodes they haven't aired yet, so it would be new to boot.

I can kind of understand their strategy, but for me it's a big pain. And what happened to Biker Mice? Wasn't that supposed to be on the fall schedule?

I wonder... no one here really likes 4Kids(I know some of you still hate them.), many fanfreaks would want to go out of business. So, what I'm saying is that if 4Kids does go bankrupt, would anyone of you care even a bit? Be a little happy? Or what?

It would mean one less provider of children's programming to broadcast television. It's possible another company could step in to fill their place, but if anyone could do better in the current business climate they would have already done so.

I guess that Biker Mice would appear on October 2nd or the 24th My Birthday LOL :).

But, i think on the 2010 Line-up, i would say that Kirby maybe will appear, and along with HTDT, (if so).

and Yu-Gi-Oh! might get big ratings. everyone loves the original Yu-Gi-Oh! back then on Kids WB though (Big Ratings) Dubbs, gets some real proof if you please. :)

Blah, I don't like these schedules at all and if this is indeed what 4Kids is actually going to do then I won't be pleased at all. And whats this about Kamen Rider airing out of the 4Kids block? Thats odd, I didn't think 4Kids would do something like that............

It's just a one-time thing. I think when 4Kids signed for the Saturday morning block, they also got a 4:30 slot once a year from the CW. Last year they used it for a fall preview, this year they're just airing an episode there.

i guess my question is why kamen rider? wasn't it getting poor ratings? also according to wikipedia the tyra banks show will be airing 2 episodes from 3-5 pm during the cw daytime. Does 4kids really think that audience would be interested in kamen rider? From what i can gather (from the ratings) its core demographic is hardly interested. Maybe they should have gone with something more popular like tmnt and just hoped for the best...

Either way i guess this is 4kids chance to show the affiliates that they can get some good ratings and perhaps get an afternoon block (which is a long shot, but this was the reason that they said that kids wb always beat them back in the day, they said something along the lines of: kids wb is able to cross promote using the weekday schedule along with their Saturday morning schedule to garner good ratings and that they (4kids) do not have the luxary of a weekday line up when they were on fox)

If only for that reason, i expect heavy advertising for that special airing of kamen rider, and maybe this could turn around the ratings for it (and maybe the block, although that is a bit ambitious)

I also think that adding yugioh is huge for the block, if it can even get a 1/4 of its original ratings it would be great, i think this will boost 4kids significantly and help out the schedule a lot. I'm a huge fan of that move. I think the block could still use a hit tho.

Well, mostly the move is to advertise the Kamen Rider toyline since the commercials are already airing everywhere and bring in more adult viewers since the show has a good adult demographic ranging from women around the age of 30 and up. The show pretty much is well liked by people without Neilson boxes which is the only thing that is holding it back.

I think that you make a good point. I only saw a couple of commercials for Winx Club toys back when it first started, but I guess it didn't sell too well. Still, I was just thinking that since it was one of their most popular shows on their website, they could consider dubbing the rest of the series. But, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen either.

I understand where you're coming from. While CW4Kids isn't off my list completely yet, I basically feel the same way with how most of their shows would be better suited for a complete DVD release. Even though Sonic X has given them good ratings in the past, there's really no reason for them to give it two slots. I would have preferred it if one of those slots were for 5D's. They could try to go for an hour of Yu-Gi-Oh!, which actually sounds pretty cool, but I doubt that they would do that since they haven't had two Yu-Gi-Oh! series airing on the same block or channel before.

Outside of Dinosaur King, the TMNT Countdown and possibly Choatic if I miss the Cartoon Network airings, there's really not much for me with this schedule. I love Yu-Gi-Oh, but considering that it's a rerun and I have all of seasons one-three on DVD, I don't think I'll watch it. If it wasn't on during Pokemon's timeslot, I might reconsider since it would be nostalgic to watch the first season on Saturday morning again. I enjoy watching GoGoRiki and Winx Club, but since they're on fairly early and Winx Club is still repeats, I won't be upset if I miss their airings.

Sonic X is close to entering its third season right now, so these episodes have rarely been seen on TV. I guess it doesn't really need two episodes a week....Yeah, actually, replacing one episode with Viva Pinata would make the schedule ten times better.

I have no complaints about them adding classic Yu-Gi-Oh! though. The first season is easily the best dubbed season and I haven't seen it in years. 5D's likely only had a handful of dubbed episodes left anyway, so I don't consider it a big loss.

I think you mean dubbed as in ready to air. They are probably dubbing episodes now, so new episodes are on the way, unless 4kids does decide to sell the license, which I doubt in such a hard time, it would probably be a last minute decision if that would happen.

Seeing Viva Pinata on the schedule would make it better for me too. As for 5D's, they probably only have up to episode 52 dubbed and ready to air and even so, I wish that they would air those episodes on their block instead of on their website. Still, at least they're not stopping their work on 5D's.

I don't believe so. 4Kids is going to put up new episodes of 5D's on their website. I can't see Cartoon Network airing premiere episodes of 5D's quite yet since they just aired episode twenty-one last week and it will take them a long time before they get to where the CW4Kids left off. It's possible that they might do so in the future, but not anytime soon since they're twenty-six or twenty-seven episodes behind the CW4Kids.
