The CW4Kids Fall Schedule, 2009 Edition

i might say next year. maybe in January 2010.

Fanasty January 2010 Schedule

7:00 Winx Club
7:30 GoGORiki
8:00 Kirby
8:30 HTDT
9:00 Rollbots
9:30 Sonic X
10:00 Dinosuar King
10:30 Yu-Gi-Oh!
11:00 Chaotic
11:30 Kamen Rider

I think I've said this before, but they need Winx Club on the lineup b/c The CW4Kids needs two E/I shows, and the only other one they have is GoGoRiki. Unless you want to see Will & Dewitt get ANOTHER run, that is... (Though I'd like to see Magical DoReMi return to TV and air season 2 that never aired on TV, though it's rumored that Toei won't let them, and their only other choice is Cubix.) Also, don't forget. Not everyone who gets The CW4Kids gets 4Kids TV and not everyone's internet connection is that good (e.g. my new one). So to some people, Sonic X and Winx Club are being shown to them for the first time (hence why we call things "The CW Network Premiere"), regardless of whether or not they will dub season 4 and the movie. And yeah, like Dubbs said, I'm glad they're finally rerunning season 3 of Sonic X. To my knowledge, there are some season 3 episodes of Sonic X that actually never aired twice in the US. (Though I do think every Winx Club episode has aired at least twice, I remember they did rerun season 1 to death on 4Kids TV, however, we haven't seen most of it in awhile.)

But yeah, I miss Viva Pi?ata...

Why might you say that? Sorry, but I haven't been keeping up with news such as that.

It sucks that they can't seem to make up their minds on when they want to show KRDK. Also, the only other thing I'm really interested in, is when they're going to show that TMNT special.

My thoughts on the CW4Kids Fall 2009 lineup:

1. It doesn't look too bad IMO. I'm definately looking forward to new seasons of Dinosaur King (no matter how badly dubbed it is, I STILL like it!!!), TMNT, and Chaotic: Marillian Invasion.:D

2. Oh, I'll also check out new eps of Yugioh 5Ds on their website later.:) Of course, I'd rather stick to the UNCUT SUB version.:p I'm only up to Episode 40, BTW.:)

3. I'll ALWAYS love Winx Club, but I'd rather stick to the UNCUT Rai English version.;):anime:

4. What's HTDT? I have no idea what that is.

5. CW4Kids isn't over just yet. There's still another season of Huntik to go.:D It'll be about a year before it airs, but it'll be worth the wait!:anime:

I hope my review of the new season was ok. I only hope I don't get banned for what I said.:( I wanna always be a part of TZ.:crying:

==My Predictions on The CW4Kids==

1. I Always love Yu-Gi-Oh! (original) when it came out, my brother even loved it. i can't wait for it. I been waiting for years to see that again. but hey, i hope this is Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's replacement that it's coming back on The CW4Kids, but will air on CN. Whew! that was long.

2. Gogoriki STILL AT 7!?!, man they really need to moved GoGORiki at 7:30 in End of 2009 or 2010.

3. Rollbots, i would love to See it though. But it's hard when Winx is a 7:30. I would watch Rollbots so bad. i love Round Shape, and Action.

4. I will watch the Top 10 TMNT Countdown. I will...

5. Kirby's Back Priemering a TV Movie. I'm Sonic Taking a Break for a Week. Kirby is still coming back though in 2010.

I gotta say but I would forget that E/I rule. It's pretty much dead. Any E/I show 4Kids get will probably end up failing and 4Kids will, once again, have to remove off its schedules. DoReMi is DEFINATELY NOT coming back. The company realized that the show wasn't pulling its own weight so guess what, throw away the second half of the first series online and let us watch the episodes without even giving a thought about 4Kids even caring about the show as the three main girls growing up. So that's good as dead. Plus remember, 4Kids up to Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's, is pretty much done with dubbing anime so DoReMi can now cry out 'OWoIsMe' because the sequel series are never going to be touched by another anime distributor. I would be surprised if they did.

Viva Pinata, I was never a fan for it and I think it would have a better life on Nick Jr. The CW4Kids is pretty much more or less is all Video Game/Toy Commercial Central. Now we all know that series had its share of video games but hey, 4Kids felt that it also wasn't pulling its weight or maybe the company thought it would get more money out of the deal with Rare and Microsoft. So far, Nintendo, Konami, and Sega have been the breadwinners for the block. With that in mind, VP has no place on the block.

I mean if we get an E/I rating for Rollbots, that would prove that none of the above-mentioned shows would return and that 4Kids will have more faith in what they have now despite the fact that the company could fold altogether or get bought out by someone else sometime in the future.

Wow, I'm actually rooting for Rollbots to beat out everyone else to be the second acquired show from another country to be considered "edu-tainment". Freaky.

Viva Pinata wouldn't belong on Nick Jr., it would belong on Nick or Nicktoons. The material is comparable to stuff like Spongebob and OddParents, it's that same kind of somewhat zany, occasional older joke/fourth wall breaking, etc. kind of humor. It was also run by Lloyd Goldfine, the same guy as TMNT, so it's no surprise that after TMNT, it was 4Kids' best original work. And it's not E/I if that's what you were thinking.

And yeah I know 4Kids' deal with Microsoft is dead in the water since Microsoft is apparently giving up on the younger audience, but just from a quality standpoint, and from an ability to have some actual new episodes on the block, Viva Pinata would be an upgrade, for sure. And I have to point out again the numbers it put up in the 8:30 slot on the CW4Kids were actually pretty good. It broke 1.0s, which the block has always had trouble doing. But the broken deal with Microsoft takes precedence I guess.

Rollbots is in no way, shape, or form E/I at all. It's an action comedy or comedic action show - whichever you want to call it - to sell toys and the online game. Very typical Saturday morning fare. Not a damn thing educational about it.

And the E/I rule is in place for all broadcast networks, it's not 4Kids coming up with this. They're legally required to put an hour of E/I programming on there, so they can't just "forget it." The only E/I they've got in their library as far as I know is GoGoRiki, Winx Club, Doremi, and Will and Dewitt, so take your pick.
