Broadcast Order: Season 1, Episode 2
Production Order: Season 1, Episode 3

Writer: Julius Sharpe
Director: Chuck Klein

A new episode airs tonight at 8:30 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

I'm still deciding if I'm going to watch this or not. I wasn't wowed by the pilot (although in the shows' defense, it was only the pilot), plus there was a promo in which Cleveland actually describes his show as "Family Guy with an afro". Most likely, that line was forced on them by FOX's publicity, but still, is that really something to aspire to be? The Cleveland Show really needs to find it's own voice and not just be Family Guy painted brown.

Hopefully this will be better than last week. And since it's focusing on Roberta, the single (not including Cleveland) non- Family Guy clone.

Definitely still going to give it a chance, even if the commercial now just had Cleveland say "It's Family Guy with an afro!". o_O

EDIT: Alright, this is definitely funnier than last week.

"You have brought a cancer to our family."

well, there were a few good jokes so far

"you have brought the cancer into this family"

and Cleveland swearing in that video was Kinda funny I guess...

Liking it so far. It's starting to feel a lot like it's own show now. Doesn't feel like Family Guy in this episode.

I like how that girl in the glasses that speaks to Cleveland Jr. was actually a bully. I thought she was going to be a potential love interest. Pleasant surprise. :)

What emmy performance was being parodied?

Cleveland ran over the dog. Chinese food! :D

I really liked the "Cleveland don't smack her bit" and when Cleveland Jr. made it seem like it was a long walk to school.

If you ask me the episode is off to a good start.

I am still disappointed at the opening. I wish it was "Black guy face" and not "mustache" face like it originally intended.:(

"You have brought cancer into this family." :D Rollo is cool.

Still fairly boring, but there was one good scene in tonight's episode (so far):

The scene where the hillbilly guy pulled the dead dog off of the street and told his extremely overweight wife "we're having Chinese food tonight." :D

Funny, I find it way too similar to Family Guy. Like the cutaways, some of which just regurgitate famous things (Halle Berry Oscar speech, Men's Wearhouse). Granted, they're not as frequent on this show, but still.
