The Breakfast Club

I am trying to have an argument with my frienRAB so I can get the chance to say to them "I don't think I need to hang around with you f*cking dildo's any more!" It hasn't happened yet, but I hope it does soon!

Paddy :D

The Breakfast Club is one of my all time favourite films could watch it over and over again. I’m 18 and just wish they made teen movies like they did back in the 80s only the odd few are any where near the level of The Breakfast club or most of the other Brat Pack films.

Stand By Me is also incredible.

Nice to see that there's a new generation of teenagers discovering The Breakfast Club over 20 years later.

Love this film - mainly due to having a serious crush on Molly Ringwald

Also love Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles for much the same reason :D

You can be my friend. :D
'Did you slip her the hot beef injection?', 'Dont mess with the bull young man, you'll get the horns' and 'Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe', are things my frienRAB have to hear regularly. Even when it doesn't make sense in the context. :o

Oh wow, i completely forgot Molly was with Ad Rock from the Beasties for a while. How did i forget that? I love the Beasties (especially the 2nd album Paul's Boutique) and the Brat Pack. My memory is going.

Glad you enjoyed Some Kind Of Wonderful, SillyGirlFlower. I love all the cheesy 80s high school punks they have like the kid who fancies Watts (Mary Stuart Masterson) and the skinhead Duncan who Keith (Eric Stoltz) strikes up the unlikely frienRABhip with whilst in detention. Loved seeing that smug prick Hardy getting his comeupence too.

Last Ally Sheedy appearances i saw were that movie where she was the drug addict lesbian, when she was in the HBO prison show OZ as a totally bitchy and exploitative careerist news reporter and when she was in the tv series of the book/movie The Dead Zone alongside her old Brat Pack pal Anthony Michael Hall. She's a great [serious actress.

I was gonna watch it but then i got sidetracked doing some sunday afternoon online shopping. You know how it goes.

Gleaming The Cube was the other good Christian Slater movie inbetween Heathers and Pump Up The Volume but i agree he fell off after that. However, Very Bad Things was ace and his character in that is like an adult version of his character in Heathers. Very funny dark comedy.

I did enjoy the New Romantics era, though I resisted the make up. (I am male - though did paint my face Adam Ant style).

I used to have a mullet hair cut, I'm growing my hair long again, maybe I should have another mullet!

Yeah, there are some good films being made today and I enjoy them too, just the 80s were a great decade for me

LMAO! Hope you wouldn't mind them not talking to you anymore! :D Or you could do it for a dare - pick a bunch of strangers & sit next to them, huff a bit then say it! Might get you a slap tho:o

Just in your own little world!:D But we understand!

I've not seen that - he was so promising then just fell off! Will have a sneak around for it! Am feeling like watching Lost Boys again at the mo....... we should change thread name to great teenage films from 80s & 90s!:D

The Breakfast Club is in my top 5 favourite movies of all time. I absolutely love love love it! I definitely wish I had been old enought to enjoy the 80's, it's my favourite era.

We should.

I think The Lost Boys is my favourite movie ever. Well, it's the one i've rewatched the most anyway.

What, you don't like rice? Tell me Michael, how could a billion Chinese people be wrong?

Have you seen the trailer for The Lost Boys 2 : The Tribe out sometime later this year?

I hope this isn't straight-to-dvd in the UK because you have no idea how much i wanna see it at the cinema.

This is probably in my top 3 favourite films of all time. Just love how they start to get to know each other, the 80s school feeling it has about it, the comedy elements, and how at the end new relationships have come about.

I don't think there should have been a day after film though because, to be honest, I reckon like one of them said, they probably didn't speak to each other after I would think.

If they remake this film it best be good!
