That part is so sad! It's hard for me to watch, but you're right...it gave a lot of insight into both of those characters, and the movie would have been missing something without it.
 
Completely agree! It's probably one of the best teen comedy/drama ever. It shows that no matter what your status is in high school, we all have our problems and really no one is better than the other.
 
No I didn't really relate to any of the characters but I knew people at my school who were like some of them. I just love this movie, it's such a classic and it was so great how they all got to know each other and became friends in the end, that's the best thing about it. When I find this on dvd, I will not hesitate to buy it. And the thing about it is I just saw it this year and went crazy over it instantly. I love it!
 
The probability of a relationship are very low, but the probability for random make out sessions are through the roof. :rotfl: Gotta love high school.

Also, Claire/Bender are the best teenager movie couple ever! And we only got to see them interact during a day. I love them so much.

TBC is the perfect example of how a high school movie should be: characters teens can relate to, bad boy/good girl pairing, awesome quotes. :sigh:
