I have many, many favourite films, from all over the world, including brilliant French films I saw on TV in the '60s and '70s and don't even know the titles of, classics like Casablanca, horror like The Wicker Man, British masterpieces like The Entertainer, comedy like Duck Soup.
However, there is one outstanding film that I've seen once, never want to see again, in case it disappoints me on second viewing (I doubt it but don't want to risk it) and one that I hold in very high regard. I'm not saying it was better than any other film made, as there are so many, but it was the one that affected me most.
The Green Mile.
