The Beatles

Yes Beatles' fans here!

Sgt. Peppers is great. I don't actually have it but I've heard the songs on the album. :hphones:

I like Sgt. Peppers and Lucy in the Sky with DiamonRAB but there's a whole other stack of their songs I like :)

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are all that's left of the Beatles. How scary.

Our family watched the tribute to George Harrision a couple of months ago and I finally got to see what his son looked like. Damn he's the spitting image of George!

Their early stuff was greatness. Rubber Soul was not. It was just a collection of bland songs impossible to sit down and listen to. Unless you want to be put to sleep.

I actually met someone IRL who said they didn't like the Beatles.

'Imagine' if the Beatles were good guitar players...I would say that Paul and John complimented each other beautifully. If they had each gone straight on to solo careers never having met each other we might never have heard of them. No doubt they were both extremely talented but had a tendency to go to the extremes of their chosen genres, which for Paul was pop-rock, and for John was politically oriented rock. Corabined though I think their collaborative works show a good mix of the two. Of course their earliest work showed signs of heavy commercilization.

Nah I disagree with that. The Who 'could' be the best live band on their day but I find their performances far too bloated with too much obscure stuff and covers and overlong medleys.

I`ve got loaRAB of live albums by both banRAB. The Stones are better by miles

The first thing you do when you come back is troll some more.

The Beatles rule, The Rolling Stones rule, Dream Theater sucks some serious hairy scrotum, get over it.

the beatles are over-rated. Harrison was the most talented in my opinion out of the 4.

(nothing against the others, even Ringo has influenced music today. I think they were at the right place at the right time, most of their earlier work was just covers of american blues/rock, but nobody wanted their white teenage girls to listen to the black artists....so the beatles get a break, blow up and all the white girls loved them.)

This is just my thoughts on the beatles popularity, afterall there were better musicians before and after them that didnt get the amount of play that they did.

because thats the title of the charles manson movie. He based his killings off of Beatles songs that he mistook as instructions to him.

Your from Canada what the hell do you know about music. Yall gave us Celine Dion, Brian Adams, and Sum 41 so you dont know what your talking aboot :usehead:
