a good point there but I think it has to do with the fact that they like to use his voice like another instrument for the band, and not let their vocals dominate the mood and feelings they want to achieve with their music

I know quite well how accomplished he is, especially in regarRAB to his various collaborations (I've always enjoyed Tomahawk and a good deal of the stuff he did with Zorn). Disregarding him is almost as idiotic as worshipping him IMO.
Also, I've never listened to FNM's stuff post-Angel Dust, but I'll take your word for it.

Not a bad list, in my opinion. Lists are cool (before ordered), but I will admit it is one of the better lists from Rolling Stone.
It doesn't contain everyone deserving but I think Aretha Franklin was a decent choice. You have to remeraber the emotion and feeling that is emitted from their songs. But that differs between all people.
Rolling Stone is still a sellout but still an ok list.

D'oh. What's worse is I started to type "Be Aggressive" and then thought, "No, wait that's not what that song is called" before proceeding to refer to the wrong song.

Well obviously if I was picking which song I like the most obviously it would be Radiohead.
If your asking me who the better singer is then obviously the first one although personally I wouldn't have either on a top 100 list.
You Radiohead fanboys can piss & whine all you like but if you seriously think Thom Yorke is one of the worlRAB best 100 singers you're dismissing a whole host of people who sing music that's much more dependent on the vocal melody of which he probably couldn't hold a candle to.
