Comment on the above one, Brad.

This list is a little strange. I love that Bowie song, and World in My Eyes is my favorite off Violator, plus I'm definitely on good terms with DJ Shadow, but beyond that it's a little unappealing.

On the other hand, this list is very comforting to me. Classic CCR, Sonic Youth, Beach Boys, Pixies, Weezer and a psyched up Beatles track with wicked rhythm. Nice one, albeit a little stale.

Anyway:

They Might Be Giants - We Want a Rock
Green Day - Jesus of Suburbia/City of the Damned/I Don't Care/Dearly Beloved/Tales of Another Broken Home/
A Tribe Called Quest - Jazz (We've Got)
New Order - Ceremony
Nouvelle Vague - Sweet and Tender Hooligan
The Kinks - Days (BBC sessions version)
Violent Femmes - Ugly
10,000 Maniacs - Hello in There
Leftfield - A Final Hit
The Fugees - Mista Mista

Very tough call on a favorite here, but the stunning delivery from Wyclef on the closing track of the Fugees perennial classic The Score wins out for me.

"Hell no muda****a you ain't drug free"

I'm not familiar with most of those but The Jam and The Beatles are great obviously, and Supergrass is pretty cool.

Simon And Garfunkel- The Boxer
Counting Crows- Raining In Baltimore
Bob Marley- Duppy Conqueror
Modest Mouse- Positive Negative
Bebel Gilberto- August Day Song
Sex Pistols- Bodies
Bob Dylan- Positively 4th Street
Blur- Tracy Jacks
Don Henley- Dirty Laundry
Jerry Lee Lewis- Maybellene

King Crimson and Grizzly Bear I both dig. Not into Tool, Sepultura, Danzig, or Mike Patton (except his album with Kaada I guess). Not familiar with the others.

1) Billie Holiday - Some Other Spring
2) Melt-Banana - Cat Brain Land
3) Howlin' Wolf - Smokestack Lightning
4) Jefferson Airplane - Volunteers (live)
5) The Doors - The End
6) Tom Waits - All Stripped Down
7) John Lee Hooker - I'm Gonna Kill That Woman
8) Swans - Time Is Money (Bastard)
9) James Brown - Lost Someone
10) Jacques Brel - Les marquises

damn, what an epic shuffle. Can't really choose a favorite.
