The 10 Song Shuffle

Amen, NIN, Pantera, Municipal Waste, and Stone Temple Pilots are really not my thing. I haven't heard Jungle Brothers, Celtic Frost, Mikey and the Soul Generation or Venomus Concept. Mike Patton is really the only thing redeeming this list for me.

Thursday - Autobiography Of A Nation (Live)
Lightning Bolt - The More We Get Together
Hot Snakes - Plenty For All
Thirteen Senses - Gone
Melvins - Lizzy
Sonic Youth - Agnes B Musique
Blood Brothers - Teen Heat
Johnny Foreigner - The End And Everything After
De Facto - Cordova
Ahleuchatistas - A Thought Like a Hammer

At the moment I give it to De Facto but that Blood Brothers and Melvins track are pretty darn close too.

i've heard of but not heard all of these banRAB.....this makes me feel very out of touch with my "metal" side....

Big Money - Big Black
The Warrior - Honey Ltd.
**** In One hand - Drunks With Guns
Un Adieu a la Folie - Rome
Children Of God - Swans
Disappointed 0- Morrisey
A Question Of Lust (Live) - Depeche Mode
Lord Winter - Death In June
Everything Counts (live) - Depeche Mode
Cul de Sac - Tomahawk

Bruce Springsteen - I'm on Fire
Dr. Dre - The Next Episode
Guns N' Roses - Mr. Brownstone
The Clash - Revolution Rock
The Cure - Charlotte Sometimes
Flo Rida - Low
Client - Radio
Motley Crue - Girls, Girls, Girls
The Smiths - What Difference Does It Make?
Madonna - Dress You Up

EDIT: As The Abominable Homan pointed out, I forgot to comment on Bulldog's post in my original reply. So here's what I would've said: I kind of like Japan and The Drifters and am ok with Dead Can Dance.

Don't worry I'll comment. This list has a lot of artists that I respect, but I don't actively listen to any of them, I should listen to Joy Division more, Hank Williams is awesome.

Seabear- I Sing I Swim
The Field Mice- Emma's House
The Field Mice- This Is Not Here
M. Ward- Epistemology
The White Stripes- Red Rain
Santana- Toussant L'Overture (Live)
The Antlers- Wake
Tilly and the Wall- Cacophony
Imperial Teen- Room With A View
Eric Margan & The Red Lions- A Speckled Mind

Wow, 2 consecutive Field Mice songs, you did not do a good job shuffling iPod.

The Mountain Goats and Iron & Wine seem alright but I need to listen more. That's all I really have listened to there.

Cannibal Ox - Ox Out the Cage
Tool - AEnima
The Beatles - I'll Be Back
The Most Serene Republic - A Mix of Sun and Cloud
Butthole Surfers - Cherub
Don Caballero - Mmmmm Acting, I Love Me Some Good Acting
N.A.S.A. - There's a Party
Sufjan Stevens - O Come, O Come, Emmanuel
Motoi Sakuraba - Rescue Operation
Alice Cooper - Desperado

That's the weirdest list I've ever seen.
Mixing Rammstein, Britney Spears, Bruce Springsteen, & Janis Joplin. See what I'm saying. It shows you like everything though.

See You On The Other Side - Black Sabbath
Stand By Me - John Lennon
Beautiful Morning - Machine Head
Aggressive Perfector - Slayer
Chop Suey! - SOAD
Yellow Ledbetter - Pearl Jam
Soldier Of Fortune - Deep Purple
Gimme Shelter - Rolling Stones (This my favorite)
Today - Smashing Pumpkins
Ganja Plane Rider - 10ft Ganja Plant (Thanks to JH for the recommendation)

Never heard The Gossip, Patrick Wolf, The Kills, La Roux, or M83. Heard of a few, but never listened. Bouncing Souls are alright from what I've heard, and I like Animal Collective's recent album but I'm not sure about their older stuff. Limited experience. Oh and DFA 1979, good stuff I haven't played in a while.

Jefferson Airplane - D.C.B.A. -25
Art Zoyd - Deux Images de la Cite Irabecille - Scenes de Carnaval
Yo La Tango - Stockholm Syndrome
31Knots - Echo-Lexington
Flying Lotus - RobertaFlack (Mike Slott Reflunk)
Archers of Loaf - You and Me
Sonic Youth - Kissability
Spoon - Don't Buy the Realistic
Tera Melos - Melody 4
The Rolling Stones - Love in Vain

Hard to pick a favorite...none of them are tracks I love, but they are good with the exception of the Sonic Youth track which is meh. I'll go for the Stones, it's a pretty song.

Idlewild - Queen of The Troubled Teens
Daft Punk - Too Long
The Jesus And Mary Chain - On The Wall
Manchester Orchestra - She Found A Love
Spiritualized - Borrowed Your Gun
The Flaming Lips - Train Runs Over The Camel But Is Derailed By The Gnat
The Coral - In The Morning
Bon Iver - Lump Sum
Radiohead - 15 Step
The Bloody Beetroots - Cornelius

All stuff I'd at least give a listen to though. Agreed that Tom Petty is the best there, but that's also my favourite Nirvana song.

1. The Orb - A Huge, Ever Growing, Pulsating Brain That Rules From the Centre of the Ultraworld
2. the pAper chAse - I Tried So Hard to Be Good
3. Tori Amos - Abnormally Attracted to Sin
4. Archer Prewitt - Leave It Gone
5. Josephine Foster - Well-Heeled Men
6. ABBA - One of Us
7. Mansun - Serotonin
8. The Spent Poets - Walt Whitman's Beard
9. Wanda Jackson - Rip It Up
10. The Proclaimers - Cap in Hand

Had a hard time choosing a favourite there, but that Orb track is just so massive.

Someday is my favorite Strokes song and probably my nuraber 2 song of all time

Last Christmas - Wham!
Adventure - Television
Stay Free - The Clash
Castles and Tassels - Adam Green
Silence - Family Fodder
Glass - Joy Division
Because You're Frightened - Magazine
Cheapskates - The Clash
Hangin' Round - Lou Reed
Hello Goodbye - The Beatles

I'm only bolding that for the lulz

I've only heard Maximo Park because Clark did a remix of the song 'Lets Get Clinical' that I like (I otherwise don't like them), and also Sun Kill Moon, Imperial Teen, and This Bike is a Pipe Borab but never heard any of their music. So unfortunately, I can't offer any kind of opinion on this list. Sorry.

Shuffled quite a bit today, here's the latest 10 before I switch it off to watch a movie or TV:

D'Arcangelo - Nadine
Freescha - Cosmo Sees Rain
Liars - Nothing Is Ever Lost or Can Be Lost My Science Friend
El-P - EMG
Misfits - Teenagers from Mars
Jawbreaker - Bad Scene, Everyone's Fault
El Ten Eleven - Bye Mom
Wham! - Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go
The Beatles - I Call Your Name
Marcy Playground - All the Lights Went Out

Worst recording quality of the bunch, but the best. I enjoyed the whole shuffle though.

Besides The Who, Pink Floyd, The Guess Who, I don't like the other half, and half of those half I haven't heard. If that makes sense...

High Hopes - Pink Floyd
Aesthetics of Hate - Machine Head
Protected of the Great Apocalypse - Dimmu Borgir

So I'm not the only one regarding the Killers (U2 is obvious...there are plenty of lovers and haters...I'm mostly indifferent leaning towarRAB dislike).

You know, I've been feeling kind of Larab Lies Down on Broadway all day today. So Genesis takes it there for me today. All pretty good stuff, though.

The Submarines - You, Me & the Bourgeoisie
Ol' Dirty Bastard - Recognize
Calexico - Cruel
People Under the Stairs - Letter to the Old School
Melt Banana - Cow's Paint Burst (Color Repair)
Kim Gordon, Ikue Mori & DJ Olive - Olive's Horn

Let It Rock - Kevin Rudolph
Vitamin R - Chevelle
Run Around - Blues Traveler

I Caught Fire - The Used:dj:
Comin' Up - Sam Adams
