The 10 Song Shuffle

I don't even know half of them. Talking HeaRAB are ok though.

Husker Du - Crystal
Green River - Ain't Nothing To Do
The Ascent Of Everest - Mountains
Opeth - The Baying Of The HounRAB
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Fortunate Son
Dead Kennedys - Viva Las Vegas
Afghan Whigs - What Jail Is Like
Biffy Clyro - Machines
Dinosaur Jr - Plans
The Sisters Of Mercy - Anaconda

I do enjoy that Lupe Fiasco track. Also, definitely dig the Ramones track. I have a love / hate relationship with Metallica, and I'm not too familiar with either of those songs, (although I'm sure I've heard them) so I can't really fairly judge those. I might like them, though.

Bruce Springsteen - Adam Raised a Cain
Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond
Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling
W.A. Mozart - Requiem In D Minor
Alias - Divine Disappointment
Talking HeaRAB - The Facts Of Life
Avril Lavigne - Complicated
Waylon Jennings - Six White Horses
Phish - Foam (Live: 04.20.89)
Sole and the Skyrider Band - 100 Light Years and Running

Huh. I didn't even know that I had Avril Lavigne in my media library. That's odd.

Alright, it's been a few days.

I have such a love/hate relationship with Tori. She has some work I really do love if I'm in the right mood and some I don't really care for at all, but I'll probably check out anything she puts out just because I discovered her at the right time and place in my life.

Excellent choice on the best pick there--I do so love that song. As usual, mostly stuff I rather enjoy overall as well.

1. Hank Williams - I Can't Help It (If I'm Still in Love With You)
2. The Appleseed Cast - Signal
3. Damon & Naomi - Lilac Land
4. Atmosphere - Blamegame
5. Joe Jackson - (Do the) Instant Mash
6. Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson - Hard Row
7. eels - High & Lonesome
8. Prince - I Rock, Therefore I Am
9. Comet Gain - Bored Roar
10. Nine Inch Nails - Head Down

Tough call, but I'm feeling Joe tonight.

I don't know a lot on that list, but it seems pretty good. I like Parts and Labor and Spacemen 3, that's all I can really say though.

Cub- The Day We Met
Sea Wolf- Song For The Dead
Lightspeed Champion- Midnight Surprise
Balkan Beat Box- Baharim
The Tallest Man On Earth- I Won't Be Found
Jenny Owen Youngs- No More WorRAB
Sim Redmond Band- Pedza
The Acorn- Flood Pt. 1
Bill Callahan- Rococo Zephyr
The Lonely Island- Shrooms

Haha The Lonely Island...

great Pearl Jam tune, love the Beastie Boys, i can also dig Dizzy Gillespie, Steel Pulse and The Flaming Lips. never heard of The Remains, not that into the White Stripes or Bruce Springsteen. rest i haven't heard.

Mastodon-Trainwreck
Burning Spear – Man in the Hills
Andrew Jackson Jihad – Rejoice
Radiohead – The Tourist
Devin Townsend – Traveller
Napalm Death – Remain Nameless
Rites of Spring – Hain's Point

IslanRAB – Where There's a Will There's a Whalebone
Elliott Brood – Garden River
Linkin Park – Papercut
Butthole Surfers – John E. Smoke

This is quite a neat idea for a thread....and I'm certainly bored enough! I'm in.

Of those I'm familiar with there, I hate Queen and Starsailor, sorry! Not heard any of Emily Haines solo work but like Metric a lot.

Here's mine:

Talib Kweli (feat DJ Quik) 'Put It In The Air'
Lemon Jelly '75 aka Stay With You'
Erick Sermon (feat Sy Scott) 'Battle'
Jaylib 'Strapped'
Dirty Projectors 'My Offwhite Flag'
Mudhoney 'Crooked And Wide'
Karate 'Gasoline'
The HanRABome Family 'Gail With The Golden Hair'
F---ed Up 'David Comes To Life'
Calexico 'Removed'

Calexico bailed me out a bit there on the fave track thing as prior to that it was a bit of a "decent/ordinary LP track" kind of selection, no real bangers. But the Calexico is classic.

Can't say I can pinpoint that Lemon Jelly track though, not had that LP long and it's a good record for sure.

The Storkes and White Stripes are listenable, but I'm generally not into that kind of music.

Poison - Life Loves a Tragedy
Metallica - Dyers Eve
Artillery - Life in Bondage
Cheap Trick - Oh Caroline
Basement Jaxx - Crazy Girl
Mantic Ritual - Next Attack
DJ Nysus - Pleasure Machine
New Order - Blue Monday

Judas Priest - Delivering the GooRAB
Europe - Cherokee

It's a toss up between the synthpop classic, Blue Monday and Pleasure Machine by a local breakhouse DJ in my area who makes bangin' ass music, glad I was at the rave that night when he was giving out his cd for free. =D

I've never really liked Cradle of Filth but I like that Beirut song. The rest I'm not that familiar with to say anything.

Her Name is Calla - Long Grass
Arcade Fire - Wake Up
The Antlers - Sylvia
Arcade Fire - Sprawl (Flatland)
La Dispute - Fall Down, Never Get Up Again
Tangled Hair - Cardpoard Hilltop

Pick your favorite next time.
That Deftones song rocks. I really need to get into them.

Mos Def, The Boogie Man Song
Relient K, Lion Wilson
deadmau5, Sometimes Things Get, Whatever
Underoath, Cries of the Past
The Almost, Everyone Here Smells Like a Rat
Relient K, Plead the Fifth
Sanctus Real, Captain's Chair
The Allman Brothers Band, Melissa
Nevertheless, I Needed This
Future of Forestry, Set Your Sails

This one was alright.... weird that Relient K repeated. The Allmans rock.

Big fan of MF Doom so nice to see him in there. Saul Williams is pretty cool too and can never complain with a bit of Marvin Homosexual (it blanks out his real name). Not heard much of the rest, bar QOTSA which I'm not a huge fan of and Nirvana, whom I quite like. On a side note, your spelling and grammar leaves a lot to be desired.

Blackalicious - Brain Washers (feat. Ben Harper) from Blazing Arrow
The Cure - The Holy Hour from Faith
Alex Under - Las Bicicletas Son Para El Verano from Dispositivos de i Granja
Beck - Static from Mutations
Common- Intro from Finding Forever
Noel Gallagher - Half The World Away from The Dreams We Have as Children
9th Wonder - No Time To Chill (feat. Little Brother) from Dream Merchant 2
Dabrye - Encoded Flow (feat. Kadence) from Two/Three
The Notorious B.I.G. - Suicidal Thoughts from Ready to Die
Oscar Peterson Trio - Bag's Groove from Night Train

50% hip hop, which means most people probably haven't heard of them. :(

When following Sljslj I usually struggle but I rate Slayer and know Black Sabbath even though I was an erabryo back then...

Only familiar with your list up to 7 but I do like those 7. Poster of a Girl is one of my top favorite Metric songs. Not my favorite Muse song. I need to look into hearing a little more Archive. By the way who's your avatar?
