I understand why you wouldn't like Drowning Pool, they've a really cliche hard rock sound, but I enjoy 'em, so... *shrug*. And any fan of Devin Townsend is a friend of mine (DT is my favorite artist, I FUCKIN' LOVE THAT GUY!).

Good list on the whole. I like Animal Collective and The Deceraberists. Huge fan of Phosphorescent too so bonus points there! These are negated by The Kaiser Chiefs though unfortunately, but still, above par list.
