You know, it's funny you should put that point of view forward. Any maybe this does belong in another thread. Me and my lunch buddy were talking about this today, how he kinda wants a Wii. I was like, you know, I've played a PS3 twice now at stores, and yeah the graphics are kinda cool, but they're definitely not $700 cooler, at least imo. And I think also to the majority of consumers, they can't tell a difference.
Gaming I think for the mainstream consumer is past graphics and whatnot, they want the experience, which is why Nintendo went with the Wii. It's fun to play, and fun to watch other people play.
I think Nokia's going for the same thing. They're not shooting for the greatest graphics ever, just something fun that you can do with the one device that's ALWAYS with you. I for one am really excited.
