Tattoo me, tattoo you

I think if your in the tattooing business, it's fine... but since I work in schools, I think I'll stay away from tattoos on my face :look:
 
It was super painful, and now I have to get it touched up.. :( But I love it, so it was all worth it,.
 
I think tattoos are awesome, but I myself would never get one. A. I don't know if I'm going to have children and I don't want to see the effects. If I do get one it will be later in life. Probably in my late 30's, that's my plan anyways.

The girl who sits behind me at work her bf is a tattoo artist and she has a ton of tattos ,she was even in a tattoo magazine. Her tattoos are so freaking awesome. She wants to have them all over, the only place she doesn't want to have them is in her face, neck, hands, since we work in a professional place. She's shown me a lot of them, her bf is really good. I told her to never have kids now lol
 
I have 3. a heart with my husbands initials above my pubic area ( I WOULD never get a tattoo there again, it looks awful after 2 kids) a sunflower on my back just below my neck, and a horseshoe on my left foot.

I want to get my children's handprints or footprints on me somewhere.
 
Mine? The lower back one hurt more, around the spine area it hurt the most. They were painful, but nothing unbearable.

Hmm you could get it on your hip like Lem said... depends how big you want it.. possibly your back.

I'm getting the guns pretty soon, my girl is getting it for me as my birthday gift. I can't wait.
 
I might go for a sea-horse on my ankle (or just above it) this summer, I love this 'spikey' one

That's the most annoying thing people say about tattoo's to try and talk us out of them.

How I see it, we get to live once, and it's our life. I mean yeah when we get old the tattoo may change, but come on we have sooo many years till we get there, so what does it matter. :shrug:
 
There is already a tattoo thread so I will merge this thread with it. BTW, the other tattoo thread was on page three so it would have been easy to find with a quick check. ;)
 
i'm so dying to get my first tattoo! i've been waiting for this so long but i just don't have the money.
i'm not sure what and where i'll get though. I'd like to get one either from my ankle down to my foot or somewhere on my wrist.. maybe. but i haven't decided anything yet, i first need a job to get the money LOL so i will just wait and think a little more about it
 
Thanks to my sister I got my first one like 2 weeks ago :D
I have wanted one scince i was 16 and I"m now 29. I have 3 huge (well to me huge) butterflys on my back. I really thought it was going to hurt more but it didn't.

I think everyone has there own way of showing of the art they love what better way to keep it with you forever.
 
Not really pain at all, unless it hits a bone. But I love the feeling... lol.
Make sure you research the place you want to go to for one. Check out the work they've done before, ask people who've been there if they like it or not, get to know the artist.
