Hey everyone
I know this issue has been mentioned on T|E and Z|72 Palm units, but I've also come across it on my T5.
When looking at the screen I hear this high pitched 'squeal.' I thought I'd get used to it, but...haha...nope, not happening. Look at the unit from the side or back and you hear nothing.
I really really really do not want to send this back to PalmOne...their service is terrible and I have a feeling it'd just pop up again. (After my hard case randomly broke, it took over a month to get a replacement. The wierd thing is, I never sent my old one back in and they sent me TWO new cases. Wierd, eh?
)
Anyway, I saw a tutorial on the T|E squeal, but I don't know if I'm ready to open up my T5's case. I'm one of those people who can't afford to just go buy a new one if I break something beyond repair. My guess is that it has something to do with the harmonics of the screen and the processor conflicting, but I really am not sure.
Any fixes that don't require 'plastic surgery'?
Thanks. I'm going crazy.
