Suspected dealing next door neighbours

We had a very similar issue a few years back. Dad was convinced they were doing something illegal. I didn't report anything, but a couple of weeks later. I woke to a raid and 3-4 police cars parked round their house. That's the last we heard of them.

It will get acted upon if the Intell is of good quality and they are able to justifiably act upon it.

As David said you won't get a call back. All identifiable information is sanitised from the report before it is made available for anyone to read. The only people that know who made the report is the officer that typed it up and the officer that sanitised it.
We never call back and inform people I what action is to be/has been taken on the information they provided. It would be a risk to the source.

I once saw someone breaking into a car, I was giving the coppers a running commentary of it happening.
I'd noticed that they were just ducking down between cars when headlights appeared, so I specifically told the police that if they drove along the road in a normal fashion they would literally be able to drive right up to them.
No,no...they come screaming along the road flat out with all lights blazing, giving the crooks plenty of warning and a 100 yard head start.
They got away.

Maybe being harsh when i say real policing back then compared to now. I know funRAB are low but the impression these days i get is they only go after easy targets. Speeding motorists where they just sit in a van all day.
And the easy tax payer. The amount of times these pikey travellers damage stuff, fly tip and park anywhere and get away with it is beyond a joke. Then we do it. Get tickets, fines straight away. They try to say knows they are a minority its picking on them if we prosecute, or it's too hard to prosecute them. So you pick on the majority instead and thats perfectly fine.

I was under the impression that this is only the case if there are any prior or current court disputes between two neigrabroadourly parties? Reporting or complaining about people to the Police or council shouldn't really warrant such actions surely?

The question is usually HAVE you had any disputes. I tried to find out if the previous owners of our flat had made any complaints to the council or cops about our neigrabroadours. Did all the request forms. A month later declined due to data protection. If i wanted to get a solicitor i may have got the answers. So you could lie and hope the new owners don't get a solicitor to get this data.

That is what I was alluding to when I said if they can't be bothered they won't do jack.

I should add that my problem isn't with neigrabroadours but dirty Kosovan ***** coming from the crevices miles away from me (I followed them home once).

Funny how they let probably illegal immigrants, who contribute nothing to society and the tax man, get away with things yet when I say I will protect my property and family at all costs I'm made to be the criminal.

'Joke' is an understatement.
