Suggested subwoofers for Kicker ZX1000.1 Mono Amp?

I just recently bought a new Kicker ZX1000.1 Mono amplifier and I wouldn't mind some suggestions about what kind of subs I should get that would be sufficient for the power supply. Any shape and size are welcome I'd just like some personally recommendations for others before I go out and buy some :) also I'm wondering about the amp is there any way I can turn the watt output down (so say like if I'm running 2 300 RMS subs) is it possible to turn the output down so I don't blow the subs. Thanks a lot everyone :)
 
12" CVR's or 10" L5's or 15" CVR's. The 15's would pound and the 10's would sound louder than the 12's. You could go easily over the 1000 that the amp puts out with no problems cause that amp will wasily do 1250, just look at the birth sheet. Good luck.

ps i dont know about turning the output down.
