I have two jl10w3v2 in a custom built box for my 04 camry. the box is built to spec for the subs and fits perfect in my trunk, its tucked right behind my back seats, subs facing the rear (magnets pointing towards driver). its sealed (to save space)
here is the link to it (this is just to show how it fits, its before the holes and carpet) http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b368/hernizzzle510/1127081532a.jpg
as u can see it completely insulates the trunk from the cabin and my rear deck is all dynamated out so its hard for air to get to me However the sound is pretty decent, but wen i pop my trunk open i get a lil more rumble and would like that when my trunk is closed. i know its the sound waves canceling each other out and stuff but i would like to know what are other things i can do to help my sound without moving the speakers around. cut a hole in the rear deck? ive already tried pushing the box forward so there's a big gap and air can go through while the seats are down and it still doesn't effect much.
so yea. that's my question. what are my options.
