Subs or Dubs?!?

I go for subs all the way, it's original voices, better background sounds etc but there are few animes wich i watched dubbed, but then dub wasn't that bad like for example narutos and other animes dubz are so it 'wasn't unbareable..

Hobos?

Also, 4Kids has significantly reduced the amount of anime they license. Many of their recents ones aren't even that well known to begin with. Here's their most recent cannon fodder:

Have you heard of it before? Do you care about it? No? Then shut up. Also, it's been over a year since they licensed Pretty Cure in February 2006 when they licensed this in September of this year.

Also, if you're behind the news, they lost the license to Pokemon, their flagship title. They also lost One Piece to FUNimations who is doing a better job at dubbing it.

So, I think it is very safe to say that 4Kids is no longer in the mainstream anime market and it is very likely that they will get their grubby little hands on anything good.

how in the hell is it this still goes on here is the answer
what ever you like is whats right no one gives a damn dvd ended the fight

Because people are stupid...

And the issue is partly getting more attention as Japan makes some subtle moves against fan-subbing. Also, TV broadcasting -- which has been in English only within the US.

But recycling old threads is better than having a clone later on, I'd say.

Subs = more work for the viewer + more consistent VA quality
Dubs = less work + less consistent (but good ones are really good)

English subbed. I cant watch anime dubbed...but sometimes they do a really great job picking character voices like in cowboy bebop, bleach wasent too bad either but the original voices are better except for ichigos...uh!

depends on how well the English voice acting is. Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop and Trigun are fine examples on how to do it right. Naruto is an example of a really crappy one that can only be watched in subs. Man his voice is annoying in English.

I voted Subs because very rarely do the English VA's do any actual acting, which is funny because VA stands for Voice ACTOR. With the original voices they do a very good job of letting you understand the characters and situations a lot better. I just feel that with the JP VA's I can get more into the show. The only show where I prefer dubs to subs is Outlaw Star because I feel Gene's JP voice doesn't suit him at all.

i may not use grammar but you people are retarded how can you keep talking about this it is pointless and always has been but became even more so with the advent of dvd and dual audio options in one purchase

I perfer dubs, because first I would like to know what i'm hearing without looking at the bottom of the screen. Second, I find subtitles to much of a distraction.

i prefer subs because dubs maybe okay but the most of the anime voice actors r so cold they dont come well with the face expresions thta characters make.
