Also, 4Kids has significantly reduced the amount of anime they license. Many of their recents ones aren't even that well known to begin with. Here's their most recent cannon fodder:

Have you heard of it before? Do you care about it? No? Then shut up. Also, it's been over a year since they licensed Pretty Cure in February 2006 when they licensed this in September of this year.
Also, if you're behind the news, they lost the license to Pokemon, their flagship title. They also lost One Piece to FUNimations who is doing a better job at dubbing it.
So, I think it is very safe to say that 4Kids is no longer in the mainstream anime market and it is very likely that they will get their grubby little hands on anything good.
