should a sub box, if the proper size, be filled with polyfill? if it is too small, how much polyfill should i use?

second, my lights are starting to dim unlike anything i had before and i am running the same power through it as before. Where do i start to upgrade the electrical system? do i get a new battery? big 3? h.o alternator?

if i should get a battery, do i go with kinetic or optima? is one better than the other?

If it helps, i have a 2002 cavalier with stock battery/alternator. Thank you for any responses.

Big 3 is your fist one, if your systems just started dimming sounds like your alternator is getting ready to go.
Armando can you back up why you say a capacitor would be good in this situation?
the capacitor would actually help to damage his setup in this situation a cap isnt to add power to a system its to smooth the voltage peaks and dips in a VERY miniscule scale if his lights are dimming its not a good time to add a cep you would kill the cap from starving it and you would damage the alternator by adding yet ANOTHER device that needs to be charged
That guy in tx
Your fist half of the answer is correct but wrong about the capcitors once again...
Its a common misconception that it will help the lights problem it doesnt help your subs hit or any of the shit you heard
it takes voltage that comes in with peaks and dips "VERY MINIMALLY might i add"
and sends it to the amp as a solid set voltage

No.... u dont buy a capacitor.....it does nothing at all really...u buy a bigger alternator and that will take care of the battery drain and the dimming lights.....
