stereo system code after battery replacement !?

I have Peugeot 406 car, I am the third owner of the car and nowadays I need to replace the old battery with a new one. But I don’t have the stereo system code. Can I deactivate the code before I remove the old battery so it will not be need after I install the new battery?If yes please help me and send me the instruction of doing this.Thank you
