STEP BY STEP u340 Tutorial.

ok this is my situation i kind of bricked a u340 because i lost the connection in the middle of a flash. when i turned the phone on it just flashed blue and white so when i press the 9 button it puts it in the emergency mode but when i try flashing using emergency + efs gives me request error start or reading error. i think its partly because i only get a modem and not a port for samsung driver in the device manager. i hope somone has any suggestions because it seems that when its in bootloader mode doesnt give you a serial port. help would be greatly appreciated

Per your instruction I found it under Modem and on COM3.

1. I connect COM3

2. But when I clicked "send" button I got an error "Failed.....phone does not answer"

Any idea with this problem?

good job amoamare, solution made a unicdma that write the esn back to the phone to that what i use the u340 is a real long process

Did anyone figure out a fix for this yet? The same thing happens with the USC a870 when flashed with the cricket bin.

it wont do anything when there is just a modem, just gives me some type of request error all the time? i have always flashed the u340 without putting it in emergency mode. but have no luck what so ever trying to flash a phone in emergency mode. i got like 5 messed up u340 that i can put in emergency mode any help would be greatly appreciated.

Accidentally started the .bin writing process with the a870 bin. Now the phone does not turn on or go into Emergency Download Mode at all. Any solution or shall I use this phone as parts?
