This is driving me crazy now, what is that word that means like to perceive something from start to finish, like the nature of the flow of time in our world? I can't think of the term, but it's not "laterally" but that's what keeps popping in my head. It's a sequence of events from one point to another and the traverse from beginning to end... I know it's a pretty simple term, but I just made it sound really complicated..
