STARDUST - This Summer A Star Falls. The Chase Begins.

Oh I love her, she is one of the best villian protrayals out there as any actor, male or female. Sometimes I think playing the villian is harder because the best ones have layers, they make you fear them, laugh sometimes, and sometimes even root for them.

There was one scene in Hairspray where she was so wonderfully wicked I thought fire was going to dance around her. I can't wait to see her protrayal in this movie.

My best friend has read the book and I think she's more excited than me. She said that to her it looks like they've changed a lot from the book. I was wondering for those who have read the book. From what you can see in the trailers, how much has been changed for Hollywood?

Finally saw this movie last week. It was so fantastic  it to bits! My movie of the moment right now  I really want to read the book now...!

Finally saw it yesterday!!!!!
I really liked the movie, though I didn't think it was so a comedy. I thought it was more dramatic.
Best of all the movie was Michelle, no doubt about it. She shines through the whole movie, you just want her to appear everytime she's not there.

It was so weird Rupert's part in the movie... A so small role! Why didn't he play Septimus instead?? It would have been the right thing.
And, for De Niro, wel I didn't expect that, really!!!

Charlie and Claire were awsome too! I loved their characters so much!!!!

Didn't like the way Tristan meets her mother, too suddenly, with no emotion at all.

Loved all Michelle parts, she did a really great job there, as always.
I watched "I Could Never Be Your Woman" yestarday, and she was awsome there too... And "Hairspray"'s is just hilarious... so she's really back stronger!!!

I think I actually started a thread for this a while back...

Anyway, I am very excited to see this movie, the trailers have been great. I especially like Michelle Pfeiffer, she looks genuinely creepy.

If he wasn't in the book, I no longer want to read the book! Nah.. j/k But the pirate crew was one of my favorite parts. :D

Arrrrg! Love them!

I just watched the movie today and loved it. :D

I was planning on reading the book beforehand but haven't gotten around to it, so I hope I enjoy it just as much as the film. I usually try to see it after reading it, so this will be a first for me.

Well I haven't read the book, but from the looks of the movie I don't think she will be in the film that much. And when I first saw the trailer I didn't even recongize her at first.

I know this is silly but I am looking forward to Robert De Niro saying Touche in his sword fight with Charlie Cox's character. This film looks like it will have good acting, good action, good humor, and of course a good storyline.

If Captain Shakespeare wasn't in the book, does that mean that there were no pirates as well?

wow! michelle pfeifer looks young and fresh in that movie. on the other hand, claire danes looks like a 40-year old lady...

Thanks, here is me knocking on wood. Need to go work on my resume.

I was wondering who your icon was? The woman looks like she is Michelle Pfeiffer, but I'm not sure. And I don't know who the man is at all.

Same! I absolutely adore the book (best Neil Gaiman book, IMO) and I couldn't have envisioned Sienna Miller as Victoria at all. I always expected someone more... I don't know. Less skanky, maybe. Actually, I can't imagine it as a movie at all - I'm afraid that they're going to ruin this because Hollywood always ruins my favourite book-movies. :(

Still, nothing much I can do about that. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope it's good. I mean, I love the book... I really should read it again before I watch the movie.

Wow, another job? You're so cool. :) Good luck!

When Michelle performed (The Legend of) Miss Baltimore Crabs was spectacular. She was very awesome and she looked beautiful in the flashback when she was dancing. She's such a sweetie pie! ....This movie is very unique. Especially here. There is still a lot of people here (in Vegas) that line up to watch Stardust, and the movie theaters (very) full!
