STARDUST - This Summer A Star Falls. The Chase Begins.

i watched this with my family, and they loved it.

no offense to anyone.. but if i had to pick between michelle pfeiffer and claire danes...i'd pick michelle. i agree to regina414, she did look old..

Stardust, was a really good fantasy movie, all the characters were so good to watch.

It's out already? Well, obviously not here. Oh well.

Just saw the trailer and it looks a lot different from what I imagined in the book. It feels... slicker. And less magical. But I don't know, I'll just have to wait and see. :look:

For those of you who haven't read the book, go read it! It's incredibly good.

I love Take That's song to this movie 'Rule The World'

Here's them performing at the National Movie Awards in London -

I loved all aspects of the movie, so the pirates are only a facet of that! :P

I wanna see it again so bad! :pout:

I haven't read the book either, so I have no comparison to make.

The movie was a pleasant surprise though. I loved it!! The whole cast was teriffic.

I loved this movie so much! It was a wonderful escape & I'm definitely going to see this one again soon :) It was funny, sweet, romantic & beautifully acted and filmed. LOVE IT!

After the movie, I sort of wanted to read the book/books ? but it'll have to wait. Still, I'm sure the story is so beautiful in a literary structure. :sigh:

I want the DVD as well. It's just a lovely movie.

Don't worry Sienna is not in it much at all. And she's not that bad...

I loved the movie, but I haven't read the book so I don't know how close it is. Robert De Niro would make the whole film worth it though. I laughed and laughed. It is a definate must see!

I saw this on thursday and I really enjoyed it! i thought it was just lovley. Great family movie! My man Ricky Gervais was hilarious in his few scenes and Charlie Cox is just adorable! Robert Deniro was bloody hilarious too!

I am so looking forward to watching this movie soon. I just finished watching Hairspray and The Simpsons Movie. I love how Michelle Pfeiffer plays the evil witch, too. It's perfect. Sienna Miller--how yucky. I'd rather play her role in the street as a drunken hobo with a red thong showing off my ass than watching her. (ooh. how disturbing..)

Everybody looks great in all the previews. Except for Sienna. Yucky.

I want to read the book too!! What I love most of the movie is Michelle, but the whole movie is so awsome!!

I saw this movie Saturday and I thought it was really good. I was very impressed with Michelle's acting as the major villain of the film and I have liked her since her portrayal of Catowman in Batman Returns. Robert De Niro's performance I also loved as well. Charlie Cox, Claire Danes performances were also very good.

Just saw this and it was really cute. It could have easily turned out very ordinary, but it turned out good.

Oh I can't wait to get paid, so I can go treat myself to see this movie. It's one of the movies you just have to see on the big screen. And I'm looking forward to how Michelle Pfeiffer, Charlie Cox, Robert De Niro, and Rupert Everett do.

I loved Michelle Pfeiffer's villian protrayal in Hairspray and can't wait to see her play a witch looking for everlasting beauty. I always adored Rupert Everett and looking forward to him. Robert De Niro looks wonderful in the trailers, and my friend told me is great. And I've only see Charlie Cox on television and in a small role in Casanova and I wonder how he will handle being the lead.

So for those who have seen the movie, could they tell me what they thought of the acting?

I haven't read the book, so I can't really do any comparisons, but I have to say I LOVED this movie. And I don't use all caps a lot. I don't even know what it was in particular, but my immediate reaction when the credits started to roll was just all smiles. I really liked it.

It had its flaws and I might feel differently after watching it for a second time on DVD, but right now, I think it was wonderful.

I'm going to go read the book now.
